Jar Of Hearts Scribbles

Hello everyone!
I'm here with another card to share!

A few weeks back I was invited to be a guest Scribbler over at
I was of course delighted & jumped at the chance!

Here's my debut GDT card!
I used the sweet image #890 Hearts Mason Jar to make my card.
The card base is a Kraft 145x145mm square.
I coloured up the image using my promarkers then cut it out with a Spellbinders die.
I edged everything with a pink Colour Q liquid chalk inkpad.
The paper I have used is one from Lidl, it seems I have been using these
a lot lately. My craft/ spare bedroom is a bit topsy turvey so it's hard to get to things
for the moment and these might just be a little easier to get to than others!
I just happen to love them too! lol
I added a section of doily as when I think of things that come in Mason jars,
I always think of doilies & ginham. Which brings me neatly on to the ribbon
which came from a crafty friends de stash.
The die cut hearts were cut with an embosslit (another crafty de stash buy)  & the
sentiment was die cut twice from  Kraft CS using a Lawn Fawn die then layered
to give a bit of dimension & shadow.
I hope you like my card & I hope you can play in the challenge.
The theme at the moment is " A Song In My Heart"
You can use a song title or pehaps some of the words as your inspiration.
The inspirations for my card was the title:
Jar Of Hearts, from a Christina Perri song!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Crafty Calendar - anything goes
Let's Color Saturday Linky Party  anything goes with something colored
Jilia Spiri Challenge - Anything Goes/ Film, Book, Song
Southern Girls Anything Goes

Cheeky!

Good morning all!
I have another card to share with you today!

This is a sneak peek of one of the samples I made for the launch of this exciting CD

Thanks Sharon, I couldn't have put it better

To quote a friend.....

SNEAK PEEK ALERT

 "The Big One" CD-ROM Volumes 1 & 2.
"The Big One was a limited edition compilation CD of the best of La Pashe 2008-2011,
released five years ago, but people still ask about it now, so, La Pashe thought they would
re-release it, along with a second volume featuring everything they have done in 2012-2014.
Thanks Sharon, you put it beautifully!

Now, here's sneak peek of one of my samples!

I simply used a 6"x 6" card base edged with a Martha Stewart border punch
Then added the decoupage. The sentiment panel is mounted on some cs which was punched,
wrapped with gingham ribbon, from my stash, tied in a double bow,
then raised on foam tape to act as the stop for the easel section.
Nice & Easel indeed!

I can't get in to my craft room at the mo so I've been doing a
bit of much needed mooching around to sort out a few things on my laptop!
I've come across quite a few cards I haven't shared with you.
This is one of them!

I am friendly with the family who run our local Chinese takeaway
& I make them a card every Chinese New Year!
This year, is the year of the monkey!
These cute little monkeys were cut using a Tattered Lace die.
The card base is DL size Linen embossed CS.
I printed the sentiment panels & matted & layered.
The card still has pride of place in the shop, which makes me giggle
every time I go in!
Thanks for popping in today!

How Many Candles?

Good morning all!
I'm back again with another, not so little card to share with you!
This time, it's a 21st Birthday card I made for my nephew!
Happy Birthday Richard!

The card base is 8"x8"
I used a Tattered Lace die to cut out the candles.
I can tell you it was a true labour of love cutting out all those little pieces
then sticking them all down!
Still, I think the final result was worth it!
The little Celebrate was cut using another TL die.
The paper was from my stash & the Happy Birthday was computer generated.
I also decorated the inside of the card & added a La Pashe, Short 'n' Sweet verse!

Thanks for popping in!
I hope you like this little card.

I'd like to enter this card in the folllowing challenges:

Sticker Stamps

Good morning all!
I have some cards to share with you today!

Have you heard about the new sticker stamps from La Pashe?
They are clear & self adhesive, & can be coloured with markers, pencils or crayons,
left as they are or stuck on to coloured/patterned paper.

Here are the samples I made using them!

For this one I stck the sticker on to some patterened papers then die cut.
The papers I have used are from Bo Bunny.

This one was stuck on to some plain cardstock & once again die cut.
I'm pretty sure these papers are from DCWV

For this easel card, I used some metallic pencils to colour the sweets befor sticking
on to some co-ordinating paper. The stop is a short & sweet easy peely verse.

I used alcohol markers for the balloons on this one.
I found it difficult to blend them so the colours are flat,
(but I am no expert at colouring)

This one was stuck to some pearlised card stck to give it some sheen.
I'm sure you'll agree they are very versaile & make a change from the usual digi or
stamped images. Perhaps they may be the sort of thing you could pack for some
 holiday crafting!

Bailey will be on Create & Craft TV demonstrating the funky new
'Sticker Stamps'

Create & Craft
Freeview 36, Sky 674, Virgin 748 & Free Sat 813

 at 11am & 6pm on Tuesday 15th March.
Thanks for stopping by & I hope you can catch
the shows!

Eighteen Candles

Good morning all!
I'm back with another card!
This one is for my niece who is 18 today
Happy Birthday Katie.

The card base is 8"x8"
The papers are by American Crafts & have been in my stash for ages.
I love how bright & cheerful they are.
The candles were cut using a Tattered Lace die.
They were a real labour of love to cut but I think the end result
was well worth the effort!
I've added a little sparkle to the flames using a sakura pen.
The Happy Birthday die came from a crafty friends stash clearout so I have
no idea who it's by! I backed it with white cs to make it stand out a bit more.
A few sequins & punched butterflies to further embellish......
et voilà!
Thnks for thevisit!
I hope you like my card!

King Of The Jungle

Good morning all!

It's Monday, it's time for the new challenge at Eureka Stamps
& I have a card to share with you!
The theme this week is

I've made a simple card, featuring the magnificent digi 13001 Lion
I changed the colour of the image in word & then printed
on to some ivory cardstock. The sentiment was printed too.
I added a little grounding with a brown pencil & distressed the edges with
serrated scissors.
The card base & the mats are the same rich brown colour,
although they look different in the photo.
The paper is by First Edition, "Boho Chic"
I also added a little bit of lace & some raffia.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you can play along this week, Anything Goes is always
a great theme to join in with!
