Busking Snowman

Hi everyone, happy Thursday!
It's been a busy week. I had intended to share this card
sooner but hey ho, here we are now!

This gorgeous snowman is from
The Gift Of Christmas CD Rom by La Pashe
I love snowmen & this little guy has to be one of my fave's
I wonder what he's singing? I'm guessing it's "The Holly & The Ivy"
The papers are from the CD too.
The base card is 8"x8" square. I added a doily, some red & white ribbon,
a big green button, a few die cut & punched snowflakes & some
little red gems to embellish.
The decoupage is easy to cut out & layer up.

A little side view to show the dimension.
I like to keep these cards fairly simple as the images speak for themselves
& have lots of interesting little details to them!
Hope you like it!

Colours Of Fall

Good morning all, it's Monday & time for the brand new challenge
over at Eureka Stamps, where the theme for this week is
Here's my DT Inspiration card

I didn't use an image on my card today, I decided to let the sentiment
do the talking for itself. I just love it!
I used a 6inch scalloped, square, card for my base.
The papers are from Lidl!
I love the colours & the fact that they are glittered & embossed too!
I fussy cut around the leaves of the second paper & popped the section up
on some foam pads. I fussy cut one leaf as an embellishment.
The sentiment was printed, cut out with a Spellbinders die,
then brushed with some antique linen distress ink before removing.
I also added a little wooden heart button which is threaded with some twine.

Thanks for coming by today! I hope you like my card.
I also hope you can play in the challenge this week!
