Clean & Simple Anniversary

Here I am with my DT Inspiration card for the brand new challenge over at

 Ooh La La Creations

Where the theme this fortnight is 

Clean & Simple

I used a Linen embossed card base.

 I cropped then printed a fantastic Husky topper from the

 Faithful Friends CD. 

On to some card,I  added a sentiment in Chopin Script which you can get free here.

Lastly, I matted it with some black card, & added some Card Candi

Hopping Over The Threshold at The Crafting Cafe!

Good morning all you lovely peeps!

This is a first for me!

 I am combining a DT post for La Pashe & 

a blog hop post for The Crafting Cafe facebook group!

As the theme of the blog hop is "Let's Celebrate",

it occured to me that my card was perfect for both.

 I checked that  it was okay with everyone & it is, so here we go!

The hop goes live at 9am, so if it's early & you've just dropped in

I've made a 6"x6" Wedding Card!

The stamp I have used is one of the new range of 

Clear Polymer stamps over at La Pashe! 

This one is called Over The Threshold & is one of several stamps

suitable for wedding cards! As the wedding season is upon us now,

I know many of us will find these useful!

This card has gone to my sister who's off to a wedding tomorrow!

I fussy cut around  the Happy Couple after colouring with 

a combination of FlexMarkers & Promarkers.

The background was coloured with distress inks.

I had some silvery grey vellum in my stash which I have been itching 

to use so I used it for matting & layering & for the diecut grass & heart.

I also used some fantastic faux silk ribbon from my stash!

I made the circle sentiment myself in my graphics program.

I've included it as a freebie below.

Pinecone Christmas Wreath

Hi all! Happy Thursday!

 Here I am again with a little Christmas card to show you!

The card is 6x6 inch square Linen Embossed cardstock.

I used a Woodware corner punch to round off the corners.

The image I have used is Pinecone Christmas Wreath from Just Inklined.

I printed the image onto cream coloured cardstock, then

coloured with my usual combination of FlexMarkers & ProMarkers

I then distressed with Old Paper Distress Ink.

As the image was so striking, I decided to keep the layout very 

Clean & Simple adding a matt of brown cardstock from my scrap box

& a little sentiment ticket to finish it off!

I hope you like it! I'm trying to throw an odd Christmas card into the mix 

as I go because I had to turn down so many orders last year 

due to being so behind with my own cards! lol

It's Simple! Call Me.........

Hello all!

It's time to showcase the June New Releases from The Crafty Pad Designs!

These are in the form of Silhouettes this time!
These have a real vintage feel about them & could be used for cards for male or female

I was given the Table image to work with, but I loved all of these images

so much, I just had to get my hands on more!

In the end, I used the Table, the Telephone & the Chair

Here's my creation

I made a pretty simple Black & White card.

I merged the images in my graphics programme

then added some text. I then printed the image onto 

some linen embossed cardstock.

 I cut out the image using an inverted scalloped nestie

then matted onto a scalloped circle of black cardstock.

The A6 card blank was pre-embossed with spots!

I fixed the image to the card using foam pads to give a bit of dimension

then added a double bow & a stick pin.

A trio of black self adhesive pearls finishes off the card!
