Birthday Girl in Pink

Good morning all,

I thought I'd ring the changes a little today!

The card I have to share today was made using an image from

Whoopsi Daisy

I love this image, it's perfect for spring & for little girls!

The base card is 6"x6" square.

I added papers from my stash not sure who they're by,

sorry, in a simple layout.

The ribbon was recycled from a friends top.

The image was pre coloured & I simply cut it out with a Spellbinders die

& inked with spun sugar distress ink whilst still in the die!

I added some little gems from my stash  to the corners

& one to the sentiment which is from Craftwork Cards.

There you have it, a quick & simple little card!

Monochromatic Whoopsi Daisy!

Good morning lovely blog peeps!

Here I am with my DT card for the brand new challenge over at 

Crafting For All Seasons

This fortnight, the theme is Monochromatic.

As you can see I have gone for shades & tones of brown.

The only deviation from brown is a tiny touch of blush on the skin tones!

I have used the fabby sketch 

from Seize The Birthday

for the basic layout of my card sadly I missed that challenge!

The image I have used is from our sponsor

Whoopsi Daisy Sheet 405

I used a comb of FlexMarkers & ProMarkers to bring them to life.

I used a Nestie to cut them out &  inked with Old Paper distress ink.

I added a seam binding double bow & also a button with a length of 

seam binding threaded through & tied in a knot.

the sentiment ticket is from My Grafico

Whoopsi Daisy, I'm Crafting For All Seasons

Hi all I trust you're well!

This is my first ever DT creation as part of the team over at

 Crafting For All Seasons

I'm delighted & honoured to be a part of this team & to work with 

 all of the very talented ladies there!

The theme for this challenge is

#43 "Something New"

Here is my card

A little pink & blue square affair!

Now, on to what's new about my creation!

My DT post of course,

my papers from Do Crafts Born To Shop, Nostalgia range, 

I bought them as part of a bundle ages ago but they've been packed away

 with all my other goodies whilst we did work in the house & have only just resurfaced.

I've used a pre-coloured image which is part of 

sheet 393 from Whoopsi Daisy

 who are sponsoring this challenge.
Here's a little tip for you:- Pre-coloured images can be a great time saver.
You can always add a few touches of shading, glitter etc to make it your own

The flowers were made using tonic punches! I've had a play with them before

but I'm pretty sure this is the first time they've made it onto a card!

The ribbon is from my stash!

The border punch is Flower Doily by Papermania!

I made the sentiment in my graphics programme & cut it out using nesties!

I decorated this card on the inside to reflect the design on the outside!
