It's Simple! Call Me.........

Hello all!
It's time to showcase the June New Releases from The Crafty Pad Designs!
These are in the form of Silhouettes this time!
These have a real vintage feel about them & could be used for cards for male or female
I was given the Table image to work with, but I loved all of these images
so much, I just had to get my hands on more!
In the end, I used the Table, the Telephone & the Chair
Here's my creation

I made a pretty simple Black & White card.
I merged the images in my graphics programme
then added some text. I then printed the image onto
some linen embossed cardstock.
I cut out the image using an inverted scalloped nestie
then matted onto a scalloped circle of black cardstock.
The A6 card blank was pre-embossed with spots!
I fixed the image to the card using foam pads to give a bit of dimension
then added a double bow & a stick pin.

A trio of black self adhesive pearls finishes off the card!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like my little card!
Pop on over to the Challenge Blog to check out the rest of the images
& the awesome creations by the rest of the DT!
One lucky commenter will win all of the new release images,
so don't forget to leave some love!
It could be you!!
You have just one week to comment & the winner will be announced on

April Showers & May Flowers!

Woo Hoo it's Sunday & that means it's time for another new challenge at
The Crafty Pad!
This week it's once again "The A Team's" chance to WoW you
with their wonderful creations!
The theme for this weeks challenge gives you the option of
#168 April Showers Bring May Flowers and/or  Sketch
We want to see those flowers in bloom on your papers,
your images or as embellishments on your creations!
Here's my card

The lovely Leesa gave us this great sketch to work with.

I rotated it a quarter turn & changed the shapes a little!
I used an A5 card blank as my base.
The design papers I have used are from one of the brand new
digital paper sets at The Crafty Pad Designs!

The image I have used is Penny Pamper!
She's just finished having her "April shower"! Lol
As you can see there are flowers on her shower cap,
towel & the bathroom rug!
The pattern on the base layer of design paper resembles flowers &
the matt of the script design paper's wording is about flowers in full bloom
I've added some flowers that I made using Papermania paper flowers
which I scrunched up, inked & then layered using brads as centres.

The image was printed onto some smooth card,
coloured using a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers,
using Spring Colours to match with the papers
& rounded the corners with a punch
The sentiment was created on my PC using a font called LMS Hippy Chick
which you can download for free from here, There are little
flowers on the letters if you look closely!
I also added some sheer ribbon, with a double bow, a heart shaped pearl stick pin
& some Green Papermania Mosaic gems to further embellish my card!
I hope you like it!
Now it's time to pop on over to  The Crafty Pad to check out the
fabulous work by the ladies of Team A!
Don't forget we also have the Anything Goes With A Crafty Pad Image
challenge which runs all month!
You can enter both challenges with the same project
if it fits the current theme & you've used a Crafty Pad image!

Cute As A Button

Good Morning all,
A very happy Sunday to you!
This week at The Crafty Pad, it's "Team A" who are bringing you
some inspiration for the challenge this week which is
We want to see at least 3 buttons on your project!
Here's my card!

Aha, I see you're saying "That's not a Crafty Pad Designs image!"

"Correct" I say!

This week we are sponsored by Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps & More

They Kindly supplied the Design Team with some images & are offering a prize
of 5 Digital Stamps Or 4 Digital Stamps & 1 Paper Pack to the winner
of this weeks Challenge!
Wowzers!!!
I used the sketch from

as the basis for my layout!
I changed the shape & flipped it!

I printed her onto some linen embossed card, I like the texture of this!
I used my Promarkers  to colour her up & I've
added a few little buttons including a little button nose!

The papers I've used were a freebie from ages ago
I thought they were perfect with this image.
I lightly distressed the edges with a pair of scissors & some ink.
I then layered them with a contrasting plain coloured  paper.
The sentiment was made on my PC using Cutie Pop font
which you can get here for free!
I also added some pink ribbon & some more of the heart shaped buttons.

I added a punched border which I inked with pink & blue

I decorated the inside of the card just a little!
I'm so glad you managed to stop by!

Easter Egg-tastic

Good Morning all!
I hope you're looking forward to a relaxing crafty Sunday!
I have to go out later but I plan on getting a bit inky beforehand!
It's once again time for a fab new challenge at
This week for Challenge #164
The theme is It's Egg-tastic
Let's see your Easter themed cards, they must include eggs, chickens,
ducks or anything that makes, creates or comes from an egg!
Here's my little card!

I've used the New Release Image,
Easter Chicks In Brolly available in the shop from today!
It's just sooo very cute don't you think!

I used a scalloped square card blank.
The Design Papers are from Southfield Stationers!
I was given a bundle to lay with last year & still had these little babies left!
They're so good, I could hardly bring myself to use them!
The layout was my own & the sentiment was done on the computer using
Cutie Pop font, you can find it free here
I added some little buttons & a double ribbon bow!

The image has been coloured up with Promarkers.
I used all the bright cheery colours of spring!

I like to decorate the inside of my cards as I find it helps with the balance!
Don't forget it's Team A's turn to impress you this week!
