Good Morning all,it's Monday again, & time for the brand new
challenge over at Eureka Stamps, where the theme for this week is
Here's the card I made!

one of Eureka Stamps sister companies.

My card base is 6"x6" Kraft CS, I embossed/debossed a couple of lines
around the outside to create a frame.
The sentiment has been diecut using a spellbinders square die
then added to the card using foam tape to pop up!
Thr Kraft flowres are from my stash, I punched a few leaves from
Kraft CS & added a natural twine double bow to complete.
I hope you like my little card & I hope you'll be
inspired to join in the challenge this week.

Albert

Good morning lovelies,
It's Thursday again which means it's time for my
Just Inklined card for this week.

I used the wonderful Albert to make an Anniversary card this time!
He's such a sweetie but I can see him as a bit of a Hell's Angel
in his younger days!
I opted for a Monochromatic theme for this card.
The papers I've used are from the Male Craft Pad from

This sketch from The Sketch File
was the inspiration for the layout of my card

I coloured Albert with my Flexmarkers, cut with a round Spellbinders Die
then inked with Old Photo Distress ink, whilst still in the die.

The sentiment is from LOTV, I stamped it with clear ink then
heat embossed with Copper embossing powder.
The ribbon is upcycled from a top & the buttons are from my stash.
Thanks for popping in today, I love it when you do!

Monochrome

Good Morning All,
It's time for a brand new challenge over at
where the theme for this fortnight is
Here's my card

I've opted for black & white & used a sponsor silhouete image set
The Audition from Stitchy Bear stamps.
I printed them all out & made a border using a Martha Stewart punch.
All the while I was making this card, I was singing the Elton John song,
Tiny Dancer, to myself! I do love that song!

Hope you enjoy the music!

I created the sentiment, a well known quotation, in my graphics program.
I cut it out with a Marianne Creatables Die (one of my faves).

(the sort added to garments to keep them on the hanger)

New Job

Good morning all!
A nice short post from me today!
The card I have to share with you, was a commisioned card.
Oddly enough, I've had quite a few requests for New Job cards this
month, I wonder, is it a sign that things are improving with the economy?
Here's what I came up with!

A simple little card in pink & white!
I created the sentiment on the PC then printed, cut out with a
Nesties Label die & inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink.
I used a white base then added two embossed panels which I inked,
then covered the join with a length of seam binding.

I added a separate hand tied quadruple bow.

Inside the card I added an inked panel & a little lucky black cat,
made with a Memory Box die.
Thanks for stopping by!

You Can Stand Under My Whimsy Umbrella!

Good morning all,
Here I am with my DT sample for the

I have used the image Umbrella- Whimsy 2 from our sponsor
To make this circle stepper card.
I cased a card made by a blogger friend of mine Ali, a while back!
It took me ages to figure out the measurements & after tearing out my hair,
doing so, I realised I should have looked for a tutorial! Doh!
Anyhoo, the base was made using Dottie Card from Anna Marie Designs
The fabric behind the image & sentiment is recycled from a
gauze dressing which was out of date.
The flourishes are cut using Marianne Design Dies.
The pins are from my stash & the flowers were from a candy I won ages ago!

Here's a closer look at the image!
I coloured it with a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers,
Then inked all the edges with Spun Sugar Distress Ink
If you haven't joined in the fun yet please do here!

Greetings All!

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday all!
It's Inspiration Time At Dude Time Doodles!
For this weeks challenge, we'd like to see you
 "Add A Sentiment"
Here's my project!

I decided to use Breast Cancer Awareness Girl for another cause!
Whilst I was chatting to a neighbour about my fundraising for

and the reasons behind it, he told me that he was in
the midst of treatment for Prostate Cancer.
He was really positive about it & I was inspired to make a card for him!
I looked up the ribbon colour for Prostate Cancer & it seems to be
light blue hence the colours on my card!

my image was coloured with a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers.
The base card was cut with a Grand Nestability then I added a
smaller shaped piece of the spotty DP which has been in my stash for ever &
was from Do Crafts about a million years ago! lol
The sentiment was part of the set, I inked the edges of the image & the
sentiment then added a blue ribbon (recycled off of a dressing gown)
& some little blue self adhesive pearls.
As the card is for a man, I wanted it to be fairly Clean & Simple
so I stopped there!

Here is the back of the card, just to let you see that I have cut a slice off
of the bottom to help it stand up & stop it rolling about!
Inside the card is lined with a plain insert cut with the Grand nestie.
I do hope he likes it & gets a chuckle!

Thanks for stopping by, now head on over to Dude Time Doodles
to see what the rest of the team have made for your inspiration!
