Christmas Is Coming

Good morning all!
It'sMonday again!!!
The weeks are zipping by & I still haven't got myself as organised as I should
be for Christmas this year! However, I'm beginning to clear my feet & feel
like I'm getting there slowly!
is this weeks theme for the challenge over at Eureka Stamps!
Here's my little card!

Have you got your tree up yet?
I'm putting it off for as long as possible because I fear my kitties
may well be just like the image I have used this week
Digi 22304 Kitty In Lights
Isn't he just the cutest?
I love that cheeky grin on his face!
I've used a 6x6 inch base card. I decided to go with yellow,
one of the colours I picked out of the background paper.
I used my Sakura Glaze pens to colour the lights & a
Light Fawn Flexmarker, to colour up the kitty!

A bit of matting & layering & a border punched with a Martha Stewart punch.
The sentiment was simply done on my PC.
The little sparkly bow just landed there when I was messing about,
so I decided just to add it where it was!
Thanks for popping in to look at my little card today!
I hope you like it!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Thank You

Good Morning all!
It's Monday which means it's time for the new challenge at
Eureka Stamps!
The theme for this week is
As we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK,
I've made a  little Thank You card

The image I've used is Digi 209 Checkerboard Cat along with the sentiment
I like to keep Thank You cards fairly simple & I had a notion to use
Red White & Blue for this one!
I printed the image & sentiment on to the front panel.
I then added a little shading to the image using my pencils.
I added a heart shaped button over the little heart which is already on the image
as I wanted to emphasise a big heart!
The border was punched with an xcut punch.
(The ribbon is recycled from a friends top)
The base card is A6 Kraft CS.
A mat of blue corrugated CS was added between the base & the image panel.

I've added a plain insert to this card to write a note inside!
Thanks so much for looking!
I hope you'll play in the challenge this week!

I'd like to enter this little card in the following challenges:

Happy Ruby Wedding

Good morning all!
The card I have to share with you today is a commision.
I was given free reign to make a Ruby Wedding card
for a friend to give to her husband.
Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary Liz & John!
Here's what I came up with!

I used a white 6"x6" base & added a mat of ruby red card-stock.
The white, embossed card is from Lelli-bot.
I added a layer of ruby card, along the lower third of the card,
the bottom edge was punched using an EK Success border punch & a
mat of  the embossed card on top.
I created the hearts using the ruby red card.
I die cut them, then ran through the big shot to emboss, using Cuttlebug
swirls & swiss dots folders. Next I added some silver thread which was wrapped around.
In the past I have used embossing powder to give these a nice shiny appearance.
This time, as I had added the thread, I decided to try Anitas 3d Clear Gloss.
It took ages to dry (overnight) but I am really happy with the result.
The sentiment was created in my graphics programme.
I added 3 ruby red star buttons to embellish.

On the inside of the card, I added a mat of ruby red card & a
die cut heart in white, to write on.
Thanks for popping in, I do hope you like my card!
I certainly had a lot of fun creating it!

Sick Puppy

Good Morning all, Happy Monday
It's time for this weeks challenge over at Eureka Stamps
where the theme is

I've used digi 2002(492) Sick Puppy for my card.
This little puppy looked so blue, I just had to use him.
I altered the colour in Word & shaded with my pencils.
I added the sentiment before printing.
The base card is A6. I used red & blue cardstock to
matt & layer. The borders were punched with a Martha Stewart Doily punch.

I added a little bit of (my recycled from tops) ribbon & a
little double bow to embellish.
I haven't done anything inside the card as yet.
Thanks for popping in!
I hope we see you in the challenge

Happy Valentines Day!

Good afternoon bloggers!
Here's my second post for today!
This is the CAS Valentines Day Card I made for my hubby!

He's watched me doing so many other Valentine cards with
hearts & red & white papers, I decided to make something a
little bit different for him!I used an A4 sheet of CS
folded in half & cut into two A6 cards.
I punched a border using a Tonic punch then
inked the edges with my liquid chalk inkpad.
I added a double bow (which I had tied already for another
project & didn't use) a computer generated sentiment &
some little blue heart shaped buttons which I've had in my stash
for ages.

The font I have used is Words Of Love & you can
download it free from here! I reckon that's about as much as I can say
about this little creation!
Thanks so much for popping in!

Good Morning lovely bloggers! I hope you're all well!

I just stopped by to share another Chinese New Year card with you!
Today is officially Chinese New Year!
2013 is the Year Of The Water Snake!
I know, he's in a tree but he's suspended over water!
Check out the koi carp & the water lillies on the background paper!

I used the image Ringo from Just Inklined.

I coloured Ringo with Promarkers & Flexmarkers & a touch of liqiud chalk in the sky,
cut him out with a Circle Nestie then inked the edges with a liquid chalk inkpad.
I added a scalloped circle matt & some punched leaves which I embossed
to give some dimendsion.
The papers are from my stash, not sure who they are by as
they have been there for a very long time!
I added some twine & 3 orental coin charms!
The sentiment was made on my pc & attached with foam tape.

I decorted the inside just a little too! The punched border

Fairy Grand Ma!

Happy Thursday peeps!
Here's a little card I made using a Just Inklined image!
It's such fun!

I made an easel card!
The design paper I've used is a free download by
Marisa Lerin over at Pixel Scrapper
I've distressed the edges with scissors & then an chalk inkpad.

The image I have used is Fairy Grand Ma
Isn't she just so cute? Everyone should have one! lol
I coloured her up with my Promarkers & Flexmarkers then
added some sparkle with a Sakura Clear Star pen!
I love that pen! Glitter without the fuss! lol
I cut out the image with an oval Nestie then distressed the edges
& matted her onto a scallop oval of pink paper.
I added a DP Panel where the pink paper was punched with
a Martha Stewart Pine Needles border punch & added some pink
spotty ribbon which is Papermania I think.
It's been in my stash since last year.

For the base section of the easel, I mirrored the layout
but added a sentiment which I made on my pc & cut out
with a Sizzix Label die. I added a little more ribbon & a couple of buttons
Hope you like it!

The message is clear!
The card base is an A6 pre-printed Papermania Designer Card.

The image & sentiment are both Breast Cancer Awareness Freebies
The image was coloured with promarkers & flexmarkers.
I added a matt of card which was punched down one side with a
Martha Stewart border punch.

The sentiment was rounded off on two corners with a corner punch.

I also added a couple of butterflies.
The larger butterfly is a Tonic punch, the smaller is Martha Stewart.
A few self adhesive pearls just finish it off!

Who Told The Little Birdie!

Good morning all & a very Happy Sunday to you!
It's time for a new challenge at The Crafty Pad & once again
it's the A Team who are bringing you some inspiration!
This weeks challenge is
#170 Doodle It! We want to see doodles on your creation!!!
I'm not so hot on the doodle front I'm afraid!
Here's my card!

The image I have used is Molly Cat With Birdhouse
this little lady is what/who attracted me to The Crafty Pad a long time ago!
Funnily enough, this is the first time I've used her on a card!
When I think of this card, the song
keeps popping into my head!
I used a square card blank made from Linen Embossed cardstock.
I printed Molly onto the same cardstock & coloured
her up with a mix of promarkers & flexmarkers.
I used the flexmarker to dot some colour about around the image.
You can see it if you zoom in to the pic.
The DP's I have used are from my scrapbox & I have used a
Martha Stewart Doily border puch for the decorative borders.
I also used some sheer ribbon to make a triple bow.

Just look at little Molly, too sweet to eat that little birdie,
she actually has something she want's to tell it!
We've all heard the expression, "A little birdie told me"
Now we know who told the little birdie, it was Molly!!
(One day I might tell you the secret!!)

I also decorated the inside of the card a little!
I feel it helps with the balance of the card & is so much nicer
than just a plain old insert!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Now head on over to The Crafty Pad to see some awesome A Team Doodles!
Oh yeah, who is our sponsor this time???
It's the wonderful MeiFlower

Dinner is Served Sir!

Good Morning lovely bloggers!
Did you remember to put your clocks forward in the UK?
Dude Time Doodles are sponsoring this weeks Challenge over at
Pile It On For/From a Man
Here's the card I made!

This is Gordy Garcon, from Dude Time Doodles,
he's such a handsome dude, isn't he!
I wanted to make a simple card with clean lines.
I used a 5" x5" square card blank, added matts of
ribbed cardstock & core'dinations card.
I punched one edge of the core'dinations cardstock with an
EK Success punch & added a little piece of ribbon.
My Stash is full of these little bits of ribbon which people
cut from their clothes & save for me.
I also added some buttons from my stash.

I coloured Gordy with Promarkers, trimmed the image then
rounded the corners with a little punch. I then matted him onto the
two kinds of cardstock, adding some detail with
 little brads at the corners

The sentiment ticket is from The Crafty Pad Designs
I matted it onto the ribbed cardstock

To finish the card off I decorated the insde!
I hope you like my card & I hope you can find the time to play in the
