Here Come The Boys at The Crafting Cafe

Good morning lovely bloggers & readers!
It's Saturday! Yay!!
It's a new month & it's time for the brand new challenge over at
where the theme this time  is "Here Come The Boys"
Here's my little card!

I used an A6 tent fold card base in dark brown, which I made
by folding an A4 sheet of cardstock in half then cutting in two.
The card is more or less flat & can be mailed using a "normal"
letter stamp in the UK not sure about elsewhere!
Something I certainly need to consider with rising postage costs

The image I have use is called Vintage Spitfire & is
from our lovely sponsor

Regular Sponsor

I recoloured the image in Word & cut it out using a circle nestie.
I then inked it while still in the die, with Antique Linen & Old Paper
distress inks!  I cut out a cog using kraft card & a spellbinders die
then used it to frame the image.

The sentiment was done in Word on the pc using a free font
called 1942 Report. It looks so like typewriter font & I reckon
it's just perfect to go with this type of image!

A final side on view of my card! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I do love it when you visit!
Don't forget  to enter your Here Come The Boys creations at

Born To Be Wild Again!

Good Morning all!
I just had to do it!
Here's my Just Inklined card for this week!

I made an easel card in Pink!
The image I've used is
Perfect for any biker in your llife, not just the guys!
I reckon, it looks as good in pink as it does in any other colour!

Coloured with my Flexmarkers & Promarkers, the edgeswere distressed with
Spun Sugar!I added some die cut cogs which I distressed too!

The papers are American Crafts, The sentiment which I used as the stop
was distressed with ink then matted onto a pink label die cut.
The beaded ribbon & twine are from Lidl,  it's meant for gift wrapping
but is perfect for crafting too. I cut some of the sheer ribbon & the ginham
ribbon & tied it round to stop the beads slipping & give a little added dimension.

Thanks for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed your visit!

I'd like to enter this card in the folowing challenges:

Paper Shelter Challenge - Shape or Easel Card

Love Is......

Good Morning lovely blog peeps!
It's time for the new challenge at Crafting For All Seasons
where the theme this time is
Wedding /Anniversary
Here's my little card!

This is for a couple who are a bit off the wall & I think
it has quite a funky feel to it!
It could be used for a Wedding or Anniversary
I opted to use my own image from
Bugaboo Stella/Gus Marriage the sentiment came with it.

Here's a closer lookat the happy couple!
I lightly coloured the image with Promarkers & Flexmarkers.
The design papers are from American Crafts.
I cut along the edges of the chevrons for a bit of detail.

I coloured the flower, it's hard to see as it's quite pale.
A little bit of  Stickles adds more dimension.

I mounted the sentiment on foam tape & then added some roses
which I cut from some trim that has been in my stash for ages.

Our sponsor this time is the lovely
