A Wedding Card? A Few New Friends Too!

Hi all, here is today's little offering!
A wedding card with a bit of a difference!
June is such a popular month for Weddings I believe as it's the start of summer! lol

The wedding was a bit unconventional I believe, so I made the card in the same vein!
The image I have used is Bethy's Wedding from Mo Manning, I do love her work!
I coloured it up using Promarkers.then cut it out with a square nestie on the Bigshot!
I also cut two similar shapes from blue cardstock .

The card base was an A5 rectangle pearlescent card made from an A4 sheet.
I very rarely buy card blanks now as I find it's much cheaper to make your own if you have the time & just buy a selection of different sized envelopes!
I added a matt of red paper & the heart design paper which was from a set I got at
Before sticking this to the base card, I wrapped a length of red organza ribbon around it & tied in a bow.
I added a smaller matt of the red & the heart papers which I wrapped another length of ribbon around.
I then topped that with three buttons that I threaded with a little bit of blue ribbon then simply knotted.
I hope you like my card! Thank you for stopping by, I do appreciate it!

A Gift For You & A New Follower or 2

Happy Monday all!
Here is my DT Card for the My Grafico Challenge & Inspiration Blog!

We the ladies of the DT were given the awesome
Mehndii Doodles set

from Mel's Brushes to work with this week!

Sooo versatile, there are sooo many different things you could do with it!
As I needed a money wallet for a gift, that's what I opted to do.
I simply printed the image straight onto a sheet of Pearlescent Cardstock,

flipped it

& added again with the words 'A Gift for You' printed in between.
I coloured the images with sakura glitter & glaze pens.
It was nice to use something other than promarkers for a change.
I had forgotten what fun these pens are to use!

Next I used my scoreboard to add two embossed lines then I scored to allow me to fold into a DL shape, making the wallet.
I attached a length of ribbon at the back using a length of Ultra High Adhesion DST.
I then popped the gift inside & tied the ribbon around to keep it in place!
Thanks for looking, I hope you like my clean & simple design gift wallet!

Here's my card

It's bright huh!
The image I have used is 'Milo Mouse New Home'

from The Crafty Pad Designs soooo cute!
I coloured the image with promarkers, cut it to shape & used a corner punch for detail.
I made the base card using a sheet of A4 coloured card which I scored folded & cut into a square.
I matted the image onto a piece of the same coloured card.

The design papers I have used are from the Two Peas In A digital set from My Grafico.
I love these papers. I also added a little ribbon threaded decorative strip from a Marianne's Design's Creatables. These are readily available in many craft shops as well as on Joanna's site!
The ribbon is actually a strip of card as my ribbon just didn't match!

I added a large layered flower with a brad centre from my stash I also added a little silver key,
hung on a piece of string!

The mark on my card is a watermark! lol
Here's why!
I always try to take my pics outside if I can as the light is generally better but every time I went out & got my card set up it started to rain! Needless to say every time I came indoors the rain stopped!
*rolls eyes in exasperation* lol
The mark did go away once I brought the card indoors & it dried! Phew!
Thanks for stopping by!
