Candy Mine Elf

Good Morning all!
This week is just whizzing by!
I've been getting ready for a little crafty sale so have been caught up making bits & pieces
as well as the usual stuff. Been busy at work too, so I'll be glad
when the weekend is here!
Anyhoo, here's the card I have to share today!

This is an 8"x8" square base with decoupage, sentiment & design paper from
The Gift Of Christmas CD Rom by La Pashe.
These are great to cut out & make up & there is also a smaller image on the
sheet, which I used to make a little card, but could be used for a matching gift tag etc!
Not too much to say about this one really,
A doily, some matting & layering, a double ribbon bow & a little jingle bell hey presto!
You could add some glitter to jazz it up but I love it just as it is!

A little side view which I hoped would show the dimenson of the decoupage
but I'm not sure it does!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you like my card.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

I have a little retirement card to share with you today!

It's a very CAS design!
The base is A6 Kraft CS. I embossed with a papermania pocket watch folder
Then swooshed with some DI in Antique Linen & added some bronze gilding wax.
The sentiment was printed on my PC using Mountains of Christmas font,
then die cut with a Spellbinders die & given the DI & gilding wax treatment.
I added a little watch charm to embellish.
As you can't do retirement properly with out a watch! lol

You can just about see inside in this photo.....

The hessian is from Lidl & was originally intended as a plant tie!

Here's a closer look at the decoupage.

Seaside Anchor

Good morning all!
How time flies, it's Thursday already!
Time for this weeks Just Inklined card !

I've made a Beachy type card! The image I have used is
a perfect image for a male or perhaps just a beach lover.
So many occasions spring to mind.....
I used a Kraft base with a strip of corrugated card in the same colour.
Some gauze, raffia, fish charms, an anchor charm & a little shell.

I coloured my image with promarkers. The sand was done with a distress
marker. I have only one, in Vintage Linen, but it worked perfectly for the sand!
The sky was Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
I popped up the image on some foam tape.

The usual side view to finish!
Hope you like it! Thanks for hopping by!

Here's a closer look at my cute little guy!
I've coloured him up using flexmarkers & promarkers.
Cut him out using a die & inked the edges with a promarker.
I used a blender to soften the edges.
The papers are my latest find in Lidl! I just love popping in
for a mooch around every now & then, as you just never know when
crafty bits might pop up!

The sentiement was done on the pc using a font which you can get
for free here. I love this one for Christmas cards.
I have added a touch of glitter using a Sakura Clear Star pen
but I don't think you can see it very well in the photo's.
The embellishments I have used are some twine, a little

This card is actually intended for a man but I guess it might
be suitable for any keen gardener or indeed anyone who likes
to spend time in the garden!

I used my usual FlexMarker & ProMarker combo to colour up the image.
then matted it onto some brown CS which has a punched border.

I added a little bit of raffia mesh some buttons & some twine.
I just had to add a little bunch of keys too!
The papers are First Edition, Bo Chic (I think)

The image I have used is Desert Sands. I have also used Tickets from

The base card is Kraft to which I added a matt of checked card.

Here's a closer look!

We all know it's hot out there in the desert & things get burned, right?
My image was no exception!
I coloured it up with a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers then
I set fire to the edges, putting it out before the smoke detector went off! lol
The DP is from my stash. I've had it for absolutely ages. Not sure
who it's by!All I can tell you about it is that it's travel related!

Christmas is Coming!

Happy Sunday all you lovely bloggers!
It's time for the new challenge at The Crafty Pad this week!
It's my turn to choose the theme this time!
The theme I chose is
 "Christmas is Coming!"
You can enter any Christmas themed project you like!
Here's my card, it's a little scalloped circle easel card.

The image I have used is
I altered it, in that  removed the sentiment & made my
own circular sentiment around the image using my graphics programme!
The Ribbon Girls have a photo/colour inspiration challenge this week!

I've used that as my inspiration!
They also have a fab give away on now too!

The image was a dream to colour  with my promarkers
& I added some sparkly highlights using my trusty
Sakura Clear Star pen!
I printed & coloured the image twice.
I cut out the first image with a circle nestie then fussy cut around the second
& layered it on top of the first one.
My base card was made
using a gold coloured card blank.

The sentiment ticket is from The Crafty Pad too,
you can find it here

The ribbon I have used was from a local haberdashery shop.
I found it in their bargain basket a couple of years ago.
I added a little bell which I had in my charm jar!
I have no idea where it came from.
Thanks for stopping by & checking out my creation!
