Black & White Anniversary

Good morning all!
I have a card to share with you today!
It's an Anniversary card that I made using the Tonic Studios Dies
which I purchased recently. I have to say I made a mistake & this wasn't
actually what I thought I had bought but hey ho,
a happy accident it would appear!

I used white linen embossed card stock for the base & the die cuts.
A matt of silver mirror card, then a matt of black embossed card
from the Pure Elegance Kit by Lelli-Bot Crafts whichI won as a blog candy.

I created the sentiment in my graphics programme as I just couldn't find
what I was after anywhere. I've added it here for you if you'd like it!

All I ask is please don't share. If you want to tell your friends about it that's great,
they are more than welcome to pop over to pick it up too.
If you do use it, I'd appreciate if you added a link back to my blog!
To save the image to your pc, just click on the image to enlarge it then
right click &save.
The sentiment was cut out using a Marianne Creatable die.

I added a few little gems from my stash just to finish it off!
Thanks for popping by, I hope you like it!
I'm off to deliver this card now!

I'd like to enter my card in a few challenges as listed below:

Monochrome

Good Morning All,
It's time for a brand new challenge over at
where the theme for this fortnight is
Here's my card

I've opted for black & white & used a sponsor silhouete image set
The Audition from Stitchy Bear stamps.
I printed them all out & made a border using a Martha Stewart punch.
All the while I was making this card, I was singing the Elton John song,
Tiny Dancer, to myself! I do love that song!

Hope you enjoy the music!

I created the sentiment, a well known quotation, in my graphics program.
I cut it out with a Marianne Creatables Die (one of my faves).

I added a few little gems from my stash & a little bit of recycled ribbon
(the sort added to garments to keep them on the hanger)
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you can play along in the challenge.

The papers I have used are from Papermania, I've had them in my stash forever!
I've hadn't used them in ages so I rooted them out & have
been using them up so I can make room for more! lol
The little arrows are cut from one of the sheets & I've popped them up on a
little bit of shaker tape for a bit of dimension!
The sentiments are also partly popped up on a bit of foam tape.
I've decorated the inside too!

Honeycomb The Bear

Good Morning lovely blog peeps!
Happy Thursday to you all, nearly the weekend!
It's been quite a week here so far so I'm looking forward to a bit of normality!
Being Thursday, it's time for me to share a Just Inklined Card with you!

The cute little guy I have used this time is
isn't he just adorable!
Here's a closer look!

Don't say I told you but.... this is one of the free images available over at
Make sure you pop on over & check out all of the images!
I know there are several new ones available!

I coloured up Honeycomb with a mix of promarkers & flexmarkers.
To match the paper I have used, which is from Papermania.
I got the pack a couple of years ago & they were a life saver!
I've inked all the edges with distress ink, die-cut some snowflakes which were also
inked & layerd then added a double bow with some ribbon from my stash

Tip: I decorated the inside of the card too!
I just love doing this as it's more fun than a plain insert,
it also helps to balance the card out too!!

Thanks for popping in & I hope you like my card!

Here's a closer look at the sentiment.
The distressed edges were done with a pair of serrated scissors
& sponged with Antique Linen Distress ink
The papers are from First Edition Bo Ho Chic & Papermania.

Here's what I did inside! I like to add a little decoration as

Hopping Over The Threshold at The Crafting Cafe!

Good morning all you lovely peeps!

This is a first for me!
I am combining a DT post for La Pashe
a blog hop post for The Crafting Cafe facebook group!

As the theme of the blog hop is "Let's Celebrate",
it occured to me that my card was perfect for both.
I checked that  it was okay with everyone & it is, so here we go!
The hop goes live at 9am, so if it's early & you've just dropped in
you may have to wait a little while if you want to join in with the hop!

If it's already past 9am, you may well have stopped by from
the lovely Katie's blog if not pop over to Nikki's Blog
& start the hop from there!

I've made a 6"x6" Wedding Card!

The stamp I have used is one of the new range of
This one is called Over The Threshold & is one of several stamps
suitable for wedding cards! As the wedding season is upon us now,
I know many of us will find these useful!
This card has gone to my sister who's off to a wedding tomorrow!

I fussy cut around  the Happy Couple after colouring with
a combination of FlexMarkers & Promarkers.
The background was coloured with distress inks.
I had some silvery grey vellum in my stash which I have been itching
to use so I used it for matting & layering & for the diecut grass & heart.
I also used some fantastic faux silk ribbon from my stash!

I made the circle sentiment myself in my graphics program.
I've included it as a freebie below.
Please feel free to take it if you like! All I ask is that you don't share.
Please direct people here to get it instead.

Little Village Church

Good Morning Bloggers,
Here I am again with another card for you!
Again, this is one of the new release polymer stamps from
Just Inklined which are featured on Create & Craft TV Today!

This stamp is called Little Village Church.
I'm sure this image will be suitable for so many occasions!
I've added a sentiment which I created from Psalms 118: 24.
The border was punched using a Tonic Border Punch.

Coloured with a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers then
cut out with a Grand Nestie & inked around the edges with a
couple of chalk inkpads blending to get the desired shade.
The matt is vellum, which has been in my stash forever.

Here's a closer look at my sentiment.
If you'd like to use it please take it from below.

Dustin, Santa & Rudolph!

Hi all I hope you had a fab Christmas & Santa was good to you!,
Here's another little Christmas card I made!
I really wish I'd had the time to take photo's of more but hey ho!
We were, it has to be said in total turmoil & it ain't over yet!
I'm hoping the DIY bug leaves this house before 2013! lol
That said, it will be nice when it's done!
We're currently having new lights fitted inside the wardrobes
which involves the wardrobes being emptied, painted & holes being
cut in the wall then wires being fed through & wired in!
The lights will switch on whenever you open the wardrobe doors when it's done! Yay!!!

Once again, it's a little CAS card as it had to be posted out!

The card base is an A6 Kraft tent fold card
made from an A4 sheet of Kraft card-stock from
Southfield Stationers. The girls in the factory shop there could charm
the birds from the trees & I always end up spending more than
my pocket money allowance every time I visit! lol

The image I have used is the pre-coloured version of  the freebie
Isn't it just adorable. I added a few touches of glitter, white gel pen &
a little shading but it's hard to see in the photos!

The paper is from my stash, I have no idea who it's by,
the ribbon is from Lidl & the sentiment computer generated.
The snowflake is a Marianne Creatable die!
I added a simple paper insert to this card.
Thanks for popping in!
I'd like to enter a few challenges with this little card:

Happy Hump Day all!
It's Wednesday & that means super new challenge at
The theme this week is
Home Improvements (with the tool man!)
Here's my card!

I made a 6x6 inch card base from my brand new Kraft cardstock.
It's pretty CAS as my stash is still packed up in boxes!
One day we'll be finished with all the DIY & redecorating here!

The image I have used is Pierre Painter, he's a real perfectionist & when
he's decorating it takes him forever to do the cutting in! lol
I coloured him up with my Promarkers

I made the sentiment in my graphics programme.
I added some ink distressing to the edges.

I decorated the inside of my card a little.
The DP I've used is a freebie from Mujka Chic @ My Grafico.
The Ric Rac has been in my stash forever, I had loads of it!
I think it's from Anita's I'm so glad to finally be using it up!
