Happy New Job

Good Morning all!
I have a little card to share with you!
Today would normally be my Just Inklined day
but as my card has already been posted on my blog I thought I'd
share a little something else with you!
This is for a work colleague, who was promoted.

Her day to day job won't change too much other than she'll be more
involved in decision making & planning, which I reckon means she's actually
been doing her new job for a while already!

I used an A6 base of white linen embossed CS then used some
snippets of vibrant pink & orange papers from my stash.
The green leafy paper is from Lidl!
Some of the leaves are embossed with gloss & glitter
The sentiment was made in my graphics programme.
I cut it out with a circle nestie then inked with a liquid chalk ink pad.
The chipboard Butterflies are by Dovecraft I think.
I added a couple of gems from my stash!

A little side view.
I'm hoping it's funky but not too out there!
I'd like to enter the following challenges with this card:

New Job - Bright

Good morning all!
Here  I am with another  card.
This one is a Good Luck in Your New Job card.

The sentiment was made in my graphics program then cut out
with a label nestie. It was inked in the die with Spun Sugar DI.
The papers I have used are from Making Memories -Maddi
I just love the bright summery colours!

I opted to used squares then added some faux stitching using a
Promarker with a fine nib.
Inside I used just one of the papers & added an inked
square panel to write a message on!
Thanks for visitng my blog! If you leave me a comment,
I will try to visit you & do the same as soon as I can!

New Job

Good morning all!
A nice short post from me today!
The card I have to share with you, was a commisioned card.
Oddly enough, I've had quite a few requests for New Job cards this
month, I wonder, is it a sign that things are improving with the economy?
Here's what I came up with!

A simple little card in pink & white!
I created the sentiment on the PC then printed, cut out with a
Nesties Label die & inked with Spun Sugar Distress ink.
I used a white base then added two embossed panels which I inked,
then covered the join with a length of seam binding.

I added a separate hand tied quadruple bow.

Inside the card I added an inked panel & a little lucky black cat,
made with a Memory Box die.
Thanks for stopping by!
I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

New Release Digi's By Jak Heath

Hello lovely blog readers!
Today, I have something different to share with you!
In the past, as many of you will know, I've had the honour of working with
the amazing Jak Heath, on the Just Inklined & La Pashe DT's.
Jak is a very talented & inspiring lady!
However, things change & Jak has decided on a change of direction in her career.
One of the changes includes drawing her own digi's.
When I was asked if I'd like to colour up one of her new images,
I jumped at the chance of course!
Here's what I created!

The image I have used is City Nell.
One of the fantastic set of 4 new digis, Jak has created!

Photo: Coming soon to http://jakheath-designs.blogspot.co.uk/ releasing 11th April
You can purchae the images here

Displaying Jak_Heath_Designs.jpg

When you purchase the images you get a line drawing to colour &
a pre-coloured image for toppers & quick cards etc.

Jak also has a new Facebook Page where you can find out more of
what she's up to!

I coloured Nell up with promarkers.
I wasn't aware at the time that the colours I had chosen
were so similar to the pre coloured image! lol
The papers I've used are Bird Song  from First Edition.
The little sentiment ticket is from The Crafty Pad Designs
I used a Martha Stewart  Doily border punch, a little crochet flower
from my stash & a seam binding bow to finish it off!

The usual little side view just to round up!
I'll be back tomorrow with a card made using another of Jak's digi
Check out the blogs below to see what some of the other girls have done

You have just one week to do this.
The winner will Guest Design with the Dude & Dudettes
for the whole of next month

Sound interesting??? Wanna Play???
Get your self over to Dude Time Doodles & snag that freebie!
Here's what I made!

It's a little "Good Luck In Your New Job card!"
I kept it fairly simple as I didn't want the joke to get lost!
Do you get it??? Tee hee...
Once I got the idea in my head I couldn't stop singing the Tina Turner song
"I don't want two loos you" lol
The freebie image is called Johnny On The Spot.
I added it twice to a piece of card then printed off three sets
to allow me to layer it up. I shaded the image with a Flexmarker
to add some shadowing although it's difficult to see in the photo.
I cut out & layered  using Pinflair glue for a bit of dimension.
The card base is A6 made from half a sheet of A4 card.
I printed the sentiment straight onto the card.
The font is Andy
The DP I have used is Papermania & the sentiment ticket was made
especially for meby Deborah Moore from The Crafty Pad Designs
I inked all of the elements using Colourbox Q inkpads in yellow& pink

I decorated the inside of the card for a bit of interest.
I added a strip of DP which I punched with a
Martha Stewart Lace Doily Border Punch.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you can join in the challenge!
