I'm Back....... Again!

Hi everyone!

Here I am again with a little card to share!

I was recently invited to join the QKR Stampede DT .....of coure I just couldn't say no!

Those digi stamps are just the cutest!

This is my simple little offering for you today!

To make my 6x6in card, I've used the following:-

Christmas Moose Digital Stamp QKR -digi20102

Merry Christmoose Digital Stamp Eureka Stamps-digi17801

I coloured the image using a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers 

with a little bit of Sakura Glaze on the lights

The papers are from my stash & are Papermania if I'm not mistaken.

I've also added a bit of ribbon & a few tiny gems from my stash

I hope you can play along in the challenge, which is always anything goes.

Each week, we select two winners  1 using QKR Stampede

 or Eureka Stamps image and 1 using any image!

City Gent

Good morning all!

I have a card to share with you today!

This one was made for my brother's birthday!

It's been kicking about as a draft post on my blog for ages, so I

thought I'd best share it with you now!

I used the Papermania Heritage Press City Gent collection to make my nice & simple

A5 gatefold card. The decoupage was layered up with foam pads.

A bit of matting & layering with the papers & a couple of buttons to embellish.

I added a couple of buttons & an eyelet to the sentiment tab.

On the inside I added a die cut tag with a little a

La Pashe Easy Peely Short n Sweet Verse 

I couldn't get the card to lay flat on it's own, so I popped 

a paperclip on it to keep it in place!

A Birthday Card

Good morning all!

A Very Happy 4th of July to all who celebrate!

Monday would normally have meant a post for Eureka Stamps DT

but as they are taking a break for the summer, I thought 

I'd share this card with you today instead!

It was made for my niece's husband.

I used a 6"x6" Kraft base.

The papers are from Papermania & were part of a covergift

which came with the Creativity magazine.

I distressed them with scissors & some liquid chalk ink pads.

The blueish paper was also embossed, using a brick embossing folder, before

being swiped with the chalk ink pad too.

Kraft was used for the matting & layering. 

The sentiment was die cut from Kraft too, using a Sue Wilson die.

The centre panel was wrapped with some string & popped up

on some foam pads for dimension.

The inside was decorated to match but I didn't get a photo of that!

April Fool?

Morning all! Happy Wednesday to you!

We've had some Freaky Weather here in the UK!

Last week was like summer & this week we have snow!

It's time for a new challenge at Dude Time Doodles yippee!

This week, the theme is 

April Fools, The Joke's On You!

Take it whatever way you like!!!

Each of the Dude & Dudette's have created something 

wonderful for your inspiration!

Here's my card!

Meet Fanny Fart!

I guess you could put her down as one of the occasional frou frou images at 

Dude Time Doodles

Poor Fanny has always wanted to be a bit of a practical joker,

sneaking up on folks to surprise them but can't quite figure out

why they always know she's there!!

Can you figure it out???

The layout is this weeks sketch from

The Sweetest Thing

I rotated it through 90 degrees

I added a little thought bubble to the image in my graphics programme!

The puff of wind was already there!!! Pffffttt!!

I coloured Fanny's skin & hair using promarkers then paper pieced 

her dress, hair band & shoes, adding a bit of shading here & there!!

The papers, ribbon & buttons I have used are all from a

Papermania capsule collection which I've had in my stash for ages.

The sentiment ticket is The Crafty Pad

I decorated the inside of my card too!

I find this helps with balance!
