Winter Wonderland

Good morning Happy Crafters!
Things are finally starting to take shape around my house
& it looks like we might be more or less organised for Christmas!
Yay!!!! Thank goodness!
Today I bring you a little card I made as GDT for
This weeks challenge over there is

I made a little off-set gatefold card.
I made one side a little bit wider that the other just because I could! lol
For the base I used cardstock from Lidl.
My supplies are running low & I wish they'd get more in as I love it!
The paper I've used is headed paper from the company my brother works for.
They re-branded & had some left over headed paper which was great quality & far
too good to throw away! Luckily my brother immediately  thought of me & saved some!

The image is from Molly Skates from The Digi Garden
I coloured Molly up with some Flexmarkers & Promarkers
then cut her out with an oval Nestie. I inked the edges with a Colourbox Cats Eye
chalk inkpad then matted her onto a scalloped oval of the base cardstock.

The sentiment was simply printed on the pc & then matted onto some cardstock
which was punched with a corner punch at the bottom to replicate the shape of Molly's Skates
The Dp I have used is another from the Papermania Festive Frolics  Pad.
I punched the edges with a Martha Stewart Pine Needles edge punch

I decorated the inside of the card then, wrapped some organza ribbon
around, securing at the back & under the image then tied in a a bow.
Thanks for dropping in to see my card!
I hope you can play in the Challenge
I'd like to enter this little card in the following challenges as listed at Feline Playful

some new feline playmates to help us in our quest!
If you feel you can afford a little time each week, or on an ad hoc basis
to help keep this amazing resource going, please check out the post here

A Very Merry Christmas

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends!

Morning all, it's Thursday & it's time for me to post
my Just Inklined creation.

Here's my card!

I used an Elegant Square card blank  from  Craftwork Cards.
I love this shape!

The images is called Merry Christmas
Such a happy looking couple, don't you think!
I love snowmen & snowladies!
I've coloured them up with Promarkers & Flexmarkers, then cut out with a
Scalloped Square nestie & used a chalk inkpad on the edges.
The paper is from the Papermania Festive Frolics Pad.
I've had it since last year but still have loads left!
I used some red vellum to matt the image & tore down the edges for added detail.
I also added some dew drop gems from my stash!

I wrapped the vellum & paper with twine & tied a bow.
The sentiment was created on the pc, I used a corner punch to round the ends.
This card is flat enough to go in the UK mail with a normal postage stamp.
Something I've had to think about this year as the cost of postage stamps has rocket up
& I have rather a lot of Christmas cards to post!

I decorated the inside of the card too!
Could you imagine making an insert to fit this! lol

This week is an Inspiration Challenge
Here's my card!

We'd like to see you make a Holiday Creations for a man,
your project can be either Christmas/Hannukah!

I made a twisted easel card using kraft card for my base.
pad by Southfield Stationers. I think these colours are just right
for making cards for men!

The image I've used is Bloodhound Christmas, it's available in the
Every time I look at that image, it reminds me of the mayhem & fun
which results in our family get together's at Christmas!
Always a real hoot I have to say! lol
I coloured my image with Promarkers & Flexmarkers
then distressed the edges with a Colourbox chalk inkpad.

Here's another view.
I kept my card simple, matting the design papers with
plain black paper. I then made some little corners with a snowflake paper
& I used the sentiment as the stop for my easel section.
The ribbon trim was a gift, I'm not sure how well
you can see it in the photo but it's black & silver too!

A Birthday Card

Hi folks!
I thought I'd best put you out of your misery!
Some of you have already had a peek at this card!
I hit publish instead of save when I added the photos & didn't have time
to write up the proper post until now! Sorry!

I made this card for a friends birthday.
digital stamp from The Stamping Boutique
I played with the image in my graphics programme & merged two
to make them look like they were clinking glasses!
I coloured up the images with a mix of flexmarkers & promarkers.
Then chalked the edges with a little
Colourbox Cats Eye Fluid Chalk Inkpad.

The papers were a freebie with a magazine ages ago!
I'm trying to use up as much of my stash as I can before I get
some new bits & pieces!
The lace & ribbon were from Dainty Paperie.
The plain paper is just normal printer paper.
I got a big pack of assorted colours from Lidl.

I decorated the inside of the card with a co-ordinating paper.

The sentiment tickets are both from The Crafty Pad.
I chalked them with my little pad too.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
It's always good to see you!
I'm off to look for some challenges to enter my little card in:
