Birthday Boy

Good Morning all!
How are we doing today? Well I hope!
It's almost the weekend & time to let your hair down!
The card I've made today is for a Birthday Boy who's 6 today!
Happy Birthday Brandyn!

The cute little boy image is Bradley With Football from
The Crafty Pad @ Card Making Downloads
I've had the image in my folder to be coloured for ages. He's been flipped to
face the opposite direction, I can't quite remember why!
I coloured him up with a mix of flexmarkers & Prisma Pencils.
He was the layered on to some scraps of card from my stash.
The card base is a 6"x6" kraft blank & the dotty paper is from La Pashe
The sentiment was also in my folder & I liked how it looked
with the image. I die cut it with a square die to give the effect of the label.
I used the trimmings from the base card & DP to add the mat.
I used a green liquid chalk inkpad on the edges of the image etc but
you can't see it very well!

Finally, to embellish, I added a large button with some sparkly dots on & a
sparkly no.6  toBradley's jumper.
Inside the card is a layer of the dotty DP with a die cut square to write on.
Thanks for popping in today, I hpe you like my card!
I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Oddball Art Stamps - Die Cuts

Shabby Penny Pamper

Good Morning Bloggers!
I hope you're well!
I have this little card to share with you!
I have made a similar card in the past using this image & papers
but this is the shabbier chic version!

Whenever I see her, I start singing "Splish Splash I was taking a bath!"
The proper colour is this

but, when I printed them out, my printer was playing games
& they looked a bit muddy. However, I quite liked the result,
so decided to stick with it! The papers were printed on to matt photo paper.
The Sentiment Ticket is from The Crafty Pad too!

The image was coloured with a combination of Promarkers & Flexmarkers
The edges were distressed with a pair of scissors then inked

The flowers were inked & layered with a brad to secure them.
(These have been in my stash forever)
The leaves & butterflies were punched & inked.
The ribbon I've used was plain white but it also received the ink treatment!

The sentiment ticket was distressed & inked too!
Thanks for looking at my creation!
I hope you like it!

I have candy on my blog here! Do play along!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Musically Challenged - Any Movie Or Song (Splish Splash as mentioned earlier!)
My Time To Craft - Music or Movie Influenced

Add A Little Sparkle To Your Life!

Morning lovely peeps & a very happy Sunday to you!
Today's my Birthday! Yay me!!!!

I need to have a look see & sort out a little Birthday Candy, so watch this space!

I'm so excited as we have the carpet fitter coming to fit the hall carpet today!

Todays post is a card for the
Crafty Pad Challenge this weeks theme, chosen by the lovely Pauline is
 #198 Add Some Glitter
Here's my creation!

I had a lot of fun making this one! I'm finally beginning to unearth some of
my bits & pieces that have been stored in boxes for the last few months!

For the base card, I used kraft card-stock from Southfield Stationers
The DP's are from my stash & I have no idea where they are from
I may have got them in a goodie bag or in a blog candy, who knows!
The bauble paper is glittered but I'm not sure you can see it in the photo!

I coloured it up with Flexmarkers the cut out with an oval Nestie.
I added some Diamond Sparkles Glitter. I then matted the image
I added a greeting which I printed out  & matted on to the green paper.

The magic mesh was from a crafty goodie bag.
I used some twine & added some little bells. from Meiflower

I decorated the inside of the card,  using the green paper with the negative cut out of the
scalloped circle die & some white paper behind. I then added some DP scraps.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my creation!

Our challenge this week is hosted by the lovely Diane & the theme is

Here's my card!

I went all White On White! lol
I do love doing these but I usually keep it for Christmas!

Our wonderful sponsor this week is

who are offering 3 digi images to one lucky winner.
They also very kindly supplied the DT with images for this challenge.

The image I chose is
Isn't it sweet!
I felt it just cried out for some soft tones so
I used my flexmarkers to colour it up with a little touch of Promarker too!
I embossed the panels using the Cuttlebug folders
Swiss Dots & Swirls I think most people who have an embossing machine
have these. I remember having terrible embossing folder envy before I had them! lol
I then matted the image & embossed panels with Linen Texture card

I also used a Crafty Pad Designs Happy Birthday Circle Sentiment

The ribbon is from my stash as is the button which I think came from a
candy give away that I won a while  ago!
The inside of the card has embossed panels too.
I'll add the pic to let you see, but it makes my card look really pink
as it was taken indoors under a fluorescent light!

Good Morning all!
I hope you're all well!
It's time for the new October New Release Post at

The image I chose to work with is the
As you can see, I used the gold!
The sentiment & the border are part of the set.

My card is Clean & Simple & will easily go in the post
with an ordinary letter stamp!
I printed the image onto some card & added some sparkle
with my Sakura, Clear Star pen.
Then matted onto some Gold Mirri Board.
The card base is an A6

I wish you could see just how much it sparkles
but it's so hard to capture with the camera!
Believe me I tried! lol

I hope you like my little offering!
I did decorate the inside with some Mirri Board but I
was so intent on capturing the sparkle, I forgot to take a photo!
I did consider further embellishments but decided against it!

Rock A Bye Baby

Over at The Crafty Pad, this week, there is a brand new challenge!
Hosted by the lovely Ali, this weeks theme is

I made a little rocker card!
Can you guess my song?
It's Rock A Bye Baby of course!
I used the image New Baby Girl
This card for a friend who has just had a baby girl but doesn't do pink!
I cut the base from an A4 sheet of card using a Scalloped Circle
Grand Nestie then cut the DP with the next size down.

I coloured the image with promarkers & flexmarkers.

Sorry the pics a bit blurry!

I tied a bow in a piece of lace edging & added another little ribbon bow into which was
tied a teddy bear charm (both of which have been in my stash forever!)
I actually got out a needle & thread & sewed the ribbon bow on to the
lace bow as I was worried that the weight of the charm would pull it off!
The DP is from the "First Edition" Hideaway stack!
Thanks for looking, I hope you like my little card & I hope you can play at
The Crafty Pad this week too! I look forward to seeing your cards & your songs!
