One Image Two Cards

Good morning all & happy Thursday to you!
I hope you've had a good week so far! I've been busy as usual but today,
it's time for me to bring you a Just Inkined creation!
Actually, I have not just one but two cards to share!
I have used the image Scottish Thistle to make two different styles of simple
quick & easy Thank You Cards.

The images were both coloured with flexmarkers & promarkers
This card is a tent style fold with one corner rounded using a Woodware corner punch.
The image was matted & layered onto mirror card & vellum.
A little tartan ribbon & bow were added.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Passion for Promarkers - Anything Goes
Creative Creations - Less is more
Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge - Anything Goes + Use Real Ribbon
Dream Valley Challenges - No Designer Paper

The second image was treated in a very similar fashion but washi tape
was used in place of ribbon making it totally flat!
A single embossed line was added around the A6 card to add interest.

Thanks for stopping by today!
I hope you like my little cards!

I'd like to enter this card in a few challenges:

Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes
Twisted Tuesday - Use Tape + T thistle A alcohol markers  P purple E embossing
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
Pumpkin Spice - Something Shiny (mirror card & acetate)
Brown Sugar - Embossing

Scottish Thistle

Good morning to you all!
Todays little card is made using a Just Inklined image.

Sympathy cards are never easy to do but when I thought about it,
this was the perfect image for my card.

Scottish Thistle, coloured lightly with flexmarkers to give
a wash effect & teamed with Tartan Design Paper
I cut the image out with a round nestie & inked the edges with a
liquid chalk inkpad then matted onto a piece of cardstock
the same colour as the base card.
I added a little tartan bow & a computer generated sentiment.
The font I used was Papyrus you can get it here for free

There you have it, a quick & simple sympathy card.
Due to the nature of this card, I have decided not to enter it in any challenges!

Just Inklined To Hop - June

Good Morning all!
Welcome to the June Just Inklined Blog Hop!

Our host this month is Tammy, who has chosen the theme
Let's Celebrate Birthdays!
If you're already hopping you'll have arrived from
Karen J if not, I've included the hop order below,
so you can get started!
Here's my little birthday creation made using the image

Coloured with Flexmarkers & Promarkers then cut out with
a circle nestie & inked with Dusty Concord distress ink.

A plaid/tartan ribbon & some buttonsfrom my stash to embellish

The sentiment was created on the pc using a font called
Aon Cari Celtic available for free here

The fantastic plaid/tartan paper is from a book
of papers by Southfield Stationers.
This is the end of the hop but, here is the hop order
just  in case you've missed anyone!
Don't forget to leave a little love on all of the blogs as there is always
a spot prize for someone who has left a comment!
