Just A Plane Birthday Card

Good morning blog hoppers!

I hope you're having a good day!

Today's card was made just or fun!

It's for my great nephews 2nd birthday today!
Happy 2nd Birthday Aryan!

As he's a real rough & tumble little boy & I wanted to make 

a card which wasn't too babyish for him!

I used Kraft CS o make a 6"x6" base.

The image I have used is High Flyin  Mouse from  Rick St Dennis

The layout is from this weeks sketch 

at Chocolate Coffee & Cards

I coloured him up in primary colours uing my usual combo of 

FlexMarkers & ProMarkers then fussy cut around the image

& placed on a mat of Kraft CS.

The papers have been in my stash forever & are by papermania.

I distressed the edges using a pair of errated scissors.

Buttons & twine were the only added embellishments.

Not One But Two!

I'm  a very lucky lady!

• Favourite color: Purple
• Favourite animal: Cats, of all sizes
• Favourite number: 7
• Favourite drink: Hmmm that's tough one! I guess it would be cider!
• Facebook or Twitter: FB although I do tweet too!
• Good book or good movie: A good book on holiday but a good movie on a cosy night in!
• Giving or getting gifts: Has to be giving! I love to see peoples faces when you give them a well chosen gift! That's not to say I don't like getting gifts too!
• My passion: Crafting(keeps me sane), My Family (Drive me insane) Holidays(for when I need to get away from it all!)
• Favourite day: Friday (the promise of the weekend ahead!)
• Favourite flower: Can't say I have a favourite but I love to see daffodils as they herald the start of spring!

1 I'm off on my hols to Majorca today & I shouldn't really be on here!!! lol

2 Shhh don't tell anyone but I love my job!!!! lol

3 I used to drive a motorbike still could if I wanted too!

4 I love Asian food with a passion!

5 I can Belleydance (got the belly to prove it!!!lol)

6  My favourite colour is Purple

7 Like Jacki I love Adam Ant & Darren Hayes as well as McFly, Queen.... the list is endless!

This is my Great Niece Jessica, who was dressed up in her mums old 

highland dancing outfit.

It had been modified for my older niece dressing up but Jess was keen to model it & brought 

loads of happy memories flooding back as she looks so like her mum did way back when!!

Just for good measure better add one of Emily (her little sis) too

Okay, so this is Emily with her great grandparents, they are all looking at a balloon! 

I love this photo of them all!
