The Big One

Good morning all!
I've got a card to share with you today!

To quote a friend.....

SNEAK PEEK ALERT
La Pashe are back on C & C on Monday with a 4 day deal featuring
 "The Big One" CD-ROM Volumes 1 & 2.
"The Big One was a limited edition compilation CD of the best of La Pashe 2008-2011,
released five years ago, but people still ask about it now, so, La Pashe thought they would
re-release it, along with a second volume featuring everything they have done in 2012-2014.
Thanks Sharon, you put it beautifully!

Now, here's sneak peek of one of my samples!

I simply used a 6"x 6" card base edged with a Martha Stewart border punch
Then added the decoupage. The sentiment panel is mounted on some cs which was punched,
wrapped with gingham ribbon, from my stash, tied in a double bow,
then raised on foam tape to act as the stop for the easel section.
Nice & Easel indeed!
Tune in next week to see Bailey presenting The Big One on Create & Craft TV.

Next Week's TV Schedule:

Mon 11th at 8am & 1pm

Tues 12th at 9am & 3pm

Wed 13th at 2pm & 6pm
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Crafting for all Seasons - Use Die-Cuts/Punches
Double D Challenges   - Yellow A Happy Place To Be (Photo Inspiration)*

Add Some Sparkle

Good morning all!
It's Monday & time for the new challenge over at Eureka Stamps,
where this weeks theme is:
This post will be short as my 'puter is about to run out of battery.
The power cable is broken & I'm waiting for the new one to be delivered!
Eeeek!
On to my card........

I used digi 9702 Eureka Butterfly for my card.
I made a little easel card for a child. Using lot's of bright colours.
I coloured the image using my Sakura Glitter pens.
It's hard to capture the sparkle, but you may see it better below!

The sentiment ticket was in my folder of already printed images & sentiments
and has been there for a very long time!
I have no idea where it's from so if anyone recognises it let me know & then,
I can give credit for it!
I coloured the ticket with the pens too!
The gems are also from my stash.
Thanks for popping in, I hope you like my card & I hope
you can play in the challenge this week!

I have another card to share today!

As you can see, it's another of the samples I made for the launch

This one is an easel card.
I used black card stock for the base & plain red paper to matt & layer.
The border was punched with an EK Success punch.
The design paper is from the CD
I used the sentiment as the stop for the easel section.
Added some ribbon & lace from my stash & a few die cut words.
You can just about see the little pocket/napkin with tiny cutlery charms.

Good morning lovelies!
I hope everyone had a good weekend!
The card I have to share today is made using the
Mustard Pot & Tulips sheet from the La Pashe Floral Decoupage range

I made a little 6"x6" easel card.
I simply cut out the image & matted & layered with different colours.
The decoupage was layered up with Pinflair glue
Next, I added a bit of card candi to the corners.
The base of the card is decorated with the matching backing paper.
I added a strip of wide cotton lace & used the sentiment as the stop.
Thanks for popping in, I hope you like it!

Belated Happy Birthday John

Good moring all!
I hope you had a good weekend!
The card I have to share with you today is a commisioned card.

This was for a friends husband's 60th Birthday.
I did intend posting it on his birthday but for some reason, when I
went off on holiday the draft just disappeared!
I used the Flippin' Men DIY Decoupage sheet from La Pashe.
It's a brilliant sheet for Joiners, Handymen & DIYers!
I used Kraft card for the A5 easel card base, matted the background
image & poem onto some plain brown paper.
The sentiment was created on my PC then cut out with a die.
The stop is made using a piece of kraft card which was given a decorative edge
using a Spellbinders Border Die & wrapped with some button twine.
This was then popped up on some foam tape.
Some card candy & my treasured tool charms were added to embellish.

Here's a little side view just to show the fold!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I'd like to add this to the following challenges:
A Gem Of A Challege - More Than One Fold
Allsorts - No Squares Allowed
Penny's Paper Crafty -More Than One Fold

The Bubble Bath Fairy

Good morning all!
Today I'm sharing a little fairy easel card with you!

Meet The Bubble Bath Fairy from the La Pashe
Gnomes & Fairies CD Rom
Perfect for so many occasions!
The DP is from the CD & there are many more on there!
I've added the sentiment as the stop, some ruffled ribbon & a pretty butterfly
 charm to embellish!

Here's a closer look at her! I've glittered her up a bit but I'm not sure
you can see it in the picture!
I love all the detail in the background, it seems such a shame to cover it up!

Here's a little view from the side showing the fold if you're not familiar.
You can also see the dimension of the ruffled ribbon!
Thanks so much for popping in, your visits are appreciated!
If you have time to leave a comment, I'll know you've been & can return the favour!

I coloured the image with my usual mix of flexmarkers & promarkers.
The sentiment was printed out using the free font Gearbox.

Hey Diddle Diddle

Good Morning all, it's Monday already!!
The good news is, it's time for a brand new challenge over at
Ooh La La Creations Challenge Blog
Our theme this time is an easy one,
Here's my DT inspiration card

I used elements from the Nursey Rhymes CD available in the shop
& made up the 3d decoupage sheet for the main part of my card.
I had lots of fun cutting out & the way it is designed, means you can
choose which elements of the picture you want to add dimension to!
I added a sentiment which was created on my pc,
cut with a nestie then inked with a liquid chalk inkpad & wrapped
with a piece of twine tied in a bow.
I also printed a line from the nursery ryhme dierctly onto the DP.
Here's a closer look at the decoupage.

If you haven't tried out Ooh La La Creations CDs yet,
I can tell you that this little design is available as a free sample
in the shop. It's really sweet isn't it!
Perhaps you'd like to use it to create an easel card too,
although you don't have to use Ooh La La Creations Products to
enter the challenge! I do hope you can play along!

Quotations at OLLCB

Good morning all.
It's Monday & it's time for the latest challenge at
Ohh La La Creations
The theme this fortnight is
Quotations
Here's my card!

I've made an Easel Card using a scalloped square card & an image from the
Passion for Fashion CD Rom
which is available from the Ohh La La Creations shop here.
As you can see I've gone for a black & white Art Deco type theme too.

I found the quotation using a google search on the internet.
Isn't it just fabulous! I mounted it on some foam tape & used that as
the stop for the easel section.

I added the image to a scalloped circle & a plain black circle.
Some matting & layering, some black lace, a little bow & some
Papermania gems from my stash et voila!
I hope you like my card!
If you'd like some more inspiration, pop on over to
the challenge blog to see what the talented DT have been up to!
Hope to see you there!

Snowman Buddy Easel

Good morning all!
I can't believe it's Thursday already!
Time to share another Just Inklined card with you!

A more or less white on white creation!
I have to say, this little guy has featured on many of my cards this year.
He's called Snowman Buddy & he's really just soo adorable!
You can find more of his snow-buddies here!
I must once again apologise for the photos but the weather has been
so dull lately it's been difficult to get the light right!
The card is made using white pearlescent card-stock.

A little close up of the image, coloured with promarkers,
cut out with a nestie & glittered around the edges!
I added an embossed line around the edges of the card.
Used little rounds of card which were embossed with cuttlebug swiss dots &
snowflake folders then glittered around the edges for
matting & layering. The fibres & the little bell are from my stash.

A little side view to show the fold.

New Arrival

Good morning lovely bloggers & readers!
I hope your having a loveley start to your weekend!
Today I have something a little different to share with you.
You may have seen it before, it was on
I get so excited when I see my creations on there! lol

This little beauty was made using the new
 now available at La Pashe

First the closed doors. I tied them up with a little ribbon & tag.
How real do those doors look?

Then a little peek at the little scene inside!
Isn't is so cute??
Sshhh, go gently, mum & baby are having some quiet time
 behind the screens!

As you can see I made a little 4 drawer easel card.
The first I've ever made if I'm honest! lol
I thought the little drawers could perhaps hold a gift
or a lock of hair, maybe a hospital baby bracelet etc.
The drawer pulls are little brads with ribbon attached!

Here's a side view of how I managed to get the
easel part to sit flat on the top of the box!
Don't forget to pick up your copy of the CD before they run out!
If you've spent all your pocket money & can't afford the CD,
don't fret, you can also buy the sheet on it's own here
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm off to see if I can find some challenges to enter!
Crafty Catz - A Fancy Fold Or Two
Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes With Ribbon (ribbon on drawer pulls)
