Santa!

Good morning all!
Not long now till the big day!
Are we all organised yet?
I most cerainly am not this year! I still have lots of shopping to do, & I'm
working up until Christmas Eve, but I'm sure we'll all get there in the end!

So, it's time for the new challenge at Eureka Stamps, where this weeks theme is
Here's my little CAS card!

I've used the adorable little Digi 16901Santa Stuck In Chimney

I've coloured the image using my Promarkers then cut with a Spellbinders oval die.
The base is an A6 white card blank & the background is from Kanban.
The image & sentiment were layered onto some Kanban CS.
I popped up the image & sentiment on some 1mm foam pads to add
some dimension but keep it within the normal UK postage limits
Not too much more to say about this quick & simple little card!

Thanks so much for dropping in!
I hope you can play in the challenge this week!
I'm sure you've all made at least one card featuring Santa!

I'd like to enter my little card in the following challenges:

Christmas In July

Good Morning all!
It's Monday, the start of a brand new week & a brand new challenge over at
Eureka Stamps where the theme this time is
Here's my little DT Inspiration card!

The image I've used is Digi 6607 Santa On Skis
Cute huh?
I coloured him up using my promarkers, cut out with a spellbinders
square die, then inked the edges with a chalk inkpad.
I added a touch of glamour dust to the fur & the pom, on his hat.
The papers I have used were in my scraps box.
The sentiment was printed & die cut.
I inked them too.
Some of the elements are mounted on foam pads for dimension.
I used a Matha Stewart punch to create the leaf border.
The little reindeer was cut with a spellbinders die & detail added
using sakura pens. Finally, I added some skittles to finish it off

Here's little look from the side too!

Santas Tipple

Good morning all!
It's a  tad windy out there today!
If you do have to go out, please stay safe!
A quick post from me today as I share my second
Just Inklined make of the week with you!
I've decorated a candle & made a little card to match.

The image I used is Santas Tipple!
One of the nicest Santa images around & just one of the many
Christmas digital stamps over at Just Inklined!
Printed on to tissue,I coloured him up with flexmarkers then
added to the candle. A little bit of Washi tape & some ribbon
& hey presto! The card was quick & simple.
With just some washi tape to embellish.

The candle without it's packaging

Santas Tipple

Wowsers, it's Thursday already people!
I hope you are all having a good week!
Lol, I'm just thinking that my blogposts are a bit like buses!
None for ages then they all appear at once!
On to my project!
I made a card using a brand new image,
it's called Santas Tipple & is just one of the fantastic
new set of images available at Just Inklined
I think this would be a great Christmas card for a guy!
As these are pencil drawn, the lines are much softer! I totally love them all!
The paper is from Southfields Black & Silver Christmas background paper pad.
I used holographic silver mirror card & plain black card
from my stash to matt & layer.
As the lines were soft, I wanted to colour him in with soft colours.
I had a couple of ideas up my sleeve, but this is what I did!
I coloured the image with flexmarkers, adding a pop of colour
with the holly on Santas hat! He's so jolly looking & he
looks like he's looking forward to his tipple too!
The sentiment was made on my PC using a fantastic free font
called White Christmas. I wrapped some twine around the
card, added a metal snowflake which has been in my stash for
a very long time & stuck a red self-adhesive gem at the centre.
Thanks for popping by! I always appreciate your visits!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Craft Room Challenge - Something New (Image)
Cuttlebug Mania - Anything Goes Manly
Loves Rubber Stamps - Round Or Square Cards

Santa's Sleigh

Morning all, it's time for a new challenge at 2 Sisters!
This is my final GDT project for them!
* Sad Face*
It's been great fun! Thanks so much for having me as GDT!
*Smiles*
This week the theme is
"Anything But a Card"
Here's what I have to share with you!

It's a little Santa's Sleigh made using Candy Canes & chocolate bars!
So easy to make but so much fun!
I think they are great substitute for overpriced selection boxes!
I first saw these on Jak Heath's blog!
She had a link to a tutorial but I decided to google & see what else was out there!
There are so many tutorials of different styles!
I had a look at them all & decided what I wanted to do!

Here are some of the ingredients I've used!
Candy Canes & a 4 finger Kit Kat formed the base.

I decided to wrap my chocolate as my other half was playing Santa on Christmas Day
& handing these out to all the little ones.
I was worried that in the mayhem, the chocolate would
end up all over my sisters floor!
This way, the theory was that if the kids tore them apart,
it should just be the outside wrappers& not the actual
chocolate wrappers that tear.
This particular model was wrapped in kraft paper,
I also did some in scraps of wrapping paper!

I tied each "present" with some twine!

Here are all the presents ready to be glued together!
I used my hot glue gun to do this!

Two of the finished articles!
The Santa's on these look really laid back! lol
I actually made 18 of them in the end as everyone wanted one!

A view from a different angle!
I can tell you that these little babies went down a treat
with the adults as well as the kids!
Thanks for popping in!
I can't wait to see what project you make for the
I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges!
