Thinking Of You

Good morning all,
Today's card is a little sympathy card.
Such a difficult occasion to make a card for but important to do!

I've used an A6 Landscape Linen embossed CS base, with a matt of blue.
I simply embossed the panel on which I had printed
the sentiment. The font I have used is Sweetly Broken.
I added 3 little punched butterflies.
Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by!

The Blessing

Good Morning all!
It's Thursday already! How's your week been?
A good one I hope!
So, it's time for me to share a Just Inklined card with you!
This time, I've made a little sympathy card.
I always find them a challenge to make.

The gorgeous image I have used is called
.I think it's just perfect for such an occasion but would also be
suitable for other religious occassions such as
Christenings, Confimations, Wedding Blessings etc.
I made the sentiment on my PC using a free font called

Here's a closer look at the image, coloured up with my promarkers
& inked with Milled Lavender Distress Ink.

I've used a Cuttlebug Script embossing folder for the white mat.
I did brush over it with the distress ink but it doesn't
show up at all in the photos!
I also added a little piece of satin ribbon from my stash.
Thanks for the visit, leave me some love & I will
try to visit you & do the same!

Sympathy Card

Good Morning All,
The card I have to share with you today is one of those difficult ones to make.
Especially when it is a young person who has passed away.

I didn't want to go with sombre colours as I feel
a young persons life should be celebrated.
I'm sure we all feel differently about this but I like to think of
a young soul soaring, finally free of pain & suffering!
I went for a simple design, on an A6 tentfold card.
The CS is linen embossed, I like the texture.
I added matt of coloured CS & a panel which was embossed with
a Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder.

I found the quote on the internet. So apt as it's by
Robert Louis Stevenson who was from our very own Edinburgh.
Cut out with a nestie & inked with Spun Sugar DI
whilst still in the die. A few little pearls added at the corners.

A sheer ribbon bow to finish off.
Thanks for popping in.
