Summer's Here

Good Morning all! Sunday already!

challenge theme is Summer's Here!
How true that is here in the UK, I'm just loving it!

Our sponsor this time is our lovely Lindsay

Regular Sponsor

Who provided the DT with some cracking images to create with!

The image I have used is Beachy Fun

I did some paper tearing & added touches of giltter.
The sentiment is from the download too.
This wasn't the original sentiment.I had it printed & cut
but I lost it in a bundle of me stash & though I searched high & low I couldn't find it!
That is until the card was done of coursewhen it just fell at my feet! LOL!
Is it just me that happens to?
The sky is tumbled glass distress ink & I drew in some birds with
a Letraset fine marker.

I decorated the inside of the card too but omitted the glitter as
I find that clogs up your biro when you write your message!
Thanks for popping in!
You have until the end of the month to enter the challenge so
if you haven't done so you'd best get cracking!

Whoopsi Daisy, I'm Crafting For All Seasons

Hi all I trust you're well!

Here is my card

A little pink & blue square affair!
Now, on to what's new about my creation!
My DT post of course,
I bought them as part of a bundle ages ago but they've been packed away
with all my other goodies whilst we did work in the house & have only just resurfaced.

I've used a pre-coloured image which is part of
sheet 393 from Whoopsi Daisy

 who are sponsoring this challenge.
Here's a little tip for you:- Pre-coloured images can be a great time saver.
You can always add a few touches of shading, glitter etc to make it your own

The flowers were made using tonic punches! I've had a play with them before
but I'm pretty sure this is the first time they've made it onto a card!
The ribbon is from my stash!
The border punch is Flower Doily by Papermania!

I made the sentiment in my graphics programme & cut it out using nesties!

I decorated this card on the inside to reflect the design on the outside!

Sassy Skater

Hey everyone,
I have a card to share with you today! Hurrah!

This little offering is for my niece!
As soon as I saw the image I knew it was for her!
She's a bit of an action girl! So it suits her down to the ground!
The colours I have used are her favourites!
I used a 5"x5" square card base made from a sheet of A4 card.
I distressed the edges of the design papers & added two panels
which were wrapped with bakers twine!

The image is Sassy Skater & she's coloured with promarkers!
She's a bit of a Tom Boy but still likes to look good!
I distressed around the edges of the image & the matt.
I also attempted to add some faux stitching up the sides with a
Sakura Souffle Pen & a metal ruler but as you can see, it wasn't my best effort!
The Sentiment was generated on my PC.
I added some brads for a bit of detail.

I decorated the inside of the card to go with the outside.
The papers I have used are from the Paper Cellar Celebrations Collection

I added a butterfly charm as I just felt it needed another little something.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm forever Blowing Bubbles!

Good Morning all!
It's Sunday & time for the latest challenge at
The Crafty Pad!
This week's theme for,
Challenge #157 is The Letter B
We'd like to see things beginning with B on your Project!
There's lots to chose from!
Here's my card

The ladies of the DT were given Lulu Blowing Bubbles to play with this week!
She's such a litttle darling & as soon as I saw her I began to sing the old song
 "I'm forever Blowing Bubbles"
That's where the inspiration for my card came from!
I used a Basic 5"x 5" square card blank for the base of my card.
I decided to use a patriotic colour scheme Red White & Blue

I coloured the image up with Promarkers &
gave Lulu Blonde hair, a Blue Dress & highlighted the Bubbles with
a bit of bling in the form of Glamour Dust!

The Blowing Bubbles sentiment was inspired by the song & I
added  some bling in the form of Red White & Blue gems!

The Buttterfly  Border had some added bling too!
I also scattered a few bows around!

I wanted to add a little charm to this card & what better than
a little bicycle! The little beauty has to get about somehow!
The very British Union Jack Design Paper is my latest purchase
from Southfields, sorry, I can't recall the name of the pack right now!
Thanks for looking, I hope you can join in with out Challenge this week!

Spring Is Coming, A Challenge & A DT Call!

Good Morning all & a very Happy Sunday to you!
I hope you're all having a peaceful & relaxing weekend!
How's the weather with you???
It's freezing here & therefore it's perfect crafting weather I feel!
With that in mind, it's time for a new challenge over at
The theme this week for
So crafty peeps, Let's See Some Fresh Spring Colours on your creations!!
Here's my card!

The DT were given the lovely
Lulu In The Meadow image to work with this week!
As a new image she is on special offer for just 59p
(I believe that's around 93cents in the US or 0.71euro)
She's just so adorable!
Now Debbie the lovely boss did mention green & yellow but.....
the little flowers just sang bluebells to me!
I know they aren't in bloom yet but they are beginning to
sprout & the promise of Spring is in the air!

As you can see I made an easel card & used a bluebell theme for my colours.
The paper I have used is a  from the A Touch Of Elegance
digital paper set from Scrapbooking Mad

I printed it onto both sides of the card stock.
I added a paper doily which was distressed with two shades of green.
Lulu was cut out with a nestie

I coloured little Lulu up with promarkers
& cut her out with a nestie.
I'm not sure where the paper clip came from but it appeared on the floor
where I was working so I decided to include it!

The Sentiment ticket is also from The Crafty Pad
& often features on my cards as it is so versatile!
other embellishments used are white organza ribbon,
little Papermania green mosaic gems & the little
Papermania flowers have been in my stash forever!
This week we have two sponsor's for you

Who are offering the winner 3 digi's of their choice from their shop!

A Woman's Work!

A woman's work is never done & that goes for this little lady, who is one of the latest additions to the Digi's With Attitude! store this week!

She's called Vacuuming Tween & she's dying to get out with her friends but instead, she's having to clean her room!!!
She's decided to have a bit of fun while doing it & is doing the Hoover Boogie to her favourite old Queen song "I want to break free!" Those of you old enough might remember the video with Freddie Mercury in a dress doing the cleaning!
Which brings me on to this weeks
Challenge#18 over at Digi's With Attitude!
It's a Theme Challenge & is "Anything to do with cleaning!"
Now you don't have to use a Digi's With Attitude! image but we do like to see what you do with them!
This week we once again have a sponsor!

Robyn's Fetish is offering up 2 paper packs, of the winners choice, from their store! This is of course  in addition to the usual prize of a $10 coupon for the Digi's With Attitude! store.
They very kindly provided the DT with some papers to play with for this challenge too!
The papers are from a collection called Coney Island Summers!
I made my card using a twisted easel base! to which I added  a matt of lightweight green card & then the  green floral paper.
I coloured my image with promarkers to match in with the papers & cut her out on the big shot with my latest nesties. I matted her onto a layer of the green textured paper.

I then added a computer generated sentiment, a ribbon from my stash, a paper flower with a rose at it's centre & a couple of punched flourishes!
For base of the easel I used the green textured paper.

The stop was once again a computer generated sentiment cut out with another nestie & matted onto the floral paper & lightweight card!

For balance I added a rose & punched flourishes!
Thank you for looking & I do hope you'll have time to play along! Don't forget to visit the other DT members blogs & comment on their cards too!!!

I have been asked how I made this card and I have to say it was very simple to do!
I took a square card blank, opened it up & scored one half from corner to corner on the diagonal!
I folded over the card & sharpened the fold with a bone folder.
I added the design paper to the base card.
I then took another piece of cardstock the same size as the base card & decorated that with the DPs and my image, flowers etc!
I attached the front to the base & added the sentiment as a stop to retain the card front!
I hope you can follow these instructions! If you do want any more details just ask!!!

I'd like to enter this card for the following challenges

Happy Camper!

Morning all!!! I'm back with this weeks DT card for the
Digi's With Attitude! Challenge #17
This week's challenge is a How do YOU do it?
Make it look PUFFY!
How do YOU make something look PUFFY on your project?
Our Sponsor this Week is
the fabulous Stampin Dragon Designs who are very kindly offering a prize of  a $10 coupon for their store.
Make sure you pop over & check out their stuff!!! Lots of fab digi's papers, images & much  more!
This is in addition to the usual $10 Coupon for the Digi's With Attitude! store!
Here's my card!

The image I've used is "Camping Tween"
She's due to be released today in the

I coloured her up with my promarkers and I wanted to cut her out as a round image but
she just didn't fit inside any of my round cutters!
Silly me forgot to size the image properly!!!
In the end I drew around the outside edge of a scalloped nestie with a pencil & hand cut the shape!
I made my 140x140mm base card from a sheet of brown cardstock. Which has the fold at the top & stands like a tent to reflect my camping image!
For the layout I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday

I'm having such fun using sketches for layouts at the moment!

The papers I have used were very kindly given to the DT, by Stampin Dragon Designs, to play with!
I just love them & didn't hesitate to make the most of them. The papers are from two different sets (Coffee Cream used for the layout & Essentials 5 used for the fern leaves) I think they work really well together!
As you can see I made my PUFFY bit by punching out some fern leaves using my Woodware Punch and some of the DPs. I embossed them to make them curl up a bit & then simply layered them around the image, to make a leafy wreath, sticking them down as I went using my quickie glue pen!
I feel it's like looking through the trees & seeing her at her little campfire, toasting her marshmallows!
The sentiment was from Sentiments 4 You & was cut out with a scalloped circle nestie.

I coloured it with promarkes & attached with foam pads for dimension.
The only other thing I added was a couple of square gems to fit in with the sketch!
I do hope you can find the time to join in with us at Digi's With Attitude! this week!
Don't forget to pop on over & check out the other DT members fantastic cards for some inspiration!

I made this Shabby Milly Birthday Card
for my great neice, Jessica who will be 4 next month!
I can't believe she's 4 already!!!
I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers challenge #116 for the design of this card.
The image is a download by Joanne Barsby purchased from
I used my Big shot and nesties to cut out the image.
I used a corner punch on the corners of the card.
The roses are hand quilled and the edges of the papers are inked with various
Distress inks.The flourishes are punched.
