Whatever The Weather

Good Morning All,

Once again, it's been a busy week for me on the crafting front!

Today sees the start of the brand  new challenge over at

Crafting For All Seasons where the theme this time is

"Whatever The Weather"

Here's my DT inspiration card!

Obviously, I've gone for snow! lol

I have used a sponsor image - MaMaw Skiing from

Inky Impressions

The sentiment was created on my PC using a free font called Frosty

I coloured her up with my flexmarkers then die cut & inked.

The papers & ribbon I've used are from a Papermania Capsule Collection

which I picked up last year. The little snowflakes were punched out with a

Dovecraft punch.

I've decorated the inside of the card too as you can just about see from this photo!

Thanks for popping in, it's always nice to see you & I hope

to see you create something for the challenge too!

Let Them Eat Cake

Good morning all, it's Monday, the start of a brand new

week & a brand new challenge over at  Ooh La La Creations challenge blog

where the theme for this fortnight is

Let Them Eat Cake

Here's my DT inspiration card!

I used elements from the Faithful Friends CD Rom,

available from the store here.

As you can see the cake is in the making & I'd say it's looking like a

recipe for disaster Lol! I wonder will they ever get it done?

Ain't those pooches just the cutest?

I really love the bright colours in this image, which are mirrored

in the co-ordinating papers. I did initially intend to make this card for

a man but as you can see, it turned out a bit more girly!

The sentiment was done on the pc & I used an Xcut border punch.

The ribbon is from my stash of the bits that are used to keep tops on hangers.

My friends collect these for me now! As you can see, the inside of

the card has been decorated too! The buttons are also from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you can play in the challenge!

Baby Drum

Good morning all!

My goodness, I can't believe it's Thursday already!

That's what happens when you go gadding off for long weekends abroad! lol

So, it's time to share a card with you all for Just Inklined

Here's what I made

A First Birthday Card for a baby boy!

The image I have chosen this time is

Baby Drum

Such a cute image, whenever I saw him I new I had to have a play.

I coloured him up with promarkers & flexmarkers then

added a little bit of Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I did think to ink all the panels but I didn't like the look so

I started again! lol

I used the sketch below for my card

Try Stampin on Tuesday

I added a panel which was embossed with a Honeycomb embossing folder

behind the image. The papers I have used are from Southfield Stationers.

The script paper is the Nursery Ryhme Little Boy Blue.

I thought the sheep paper was the perfect partner.

The sentiment was printed out with the image & cut with a

Spellbinders Die. I also added a couple of buttons threaded with twine,
(my favourite embellishments) from my stash.

Thanks for popping in, I hope you enjoyed your visit!

Heart Word Cloud Card

Good Morning all!

I trust you are well!

Today we're off to a wedding, let's hope the sun shines!

I wanted to share with you all, the card I made.

A Clean & Simple 6x6inch card & a little gift card too!

I wish I could take credit for the heart word cloud but sadly not.

I can tell you who is responsible though!

A few weeks back, I was introduced to a facebook page called

Slinky Designs

if you haven't checked out the page already, please do,

 it's well worth a visit.

Anyhoo, the owner made this as an A3 poster for me & very kindly

shared the file in a smaller size so I could make these!

I have to say, I was astounded when I saw it as it was just as I pictured it.

There are a great many designs on his page & I have to say the prices are

beyond reasonable & he's so helpful too.

Enjoy your Saturday all!

I'm Not Square

Happy Fridayn all!

I thought I'd share this little card with you today!

I often print out two images when I make cards so I can replicate

or create somehing different with it, whatever takes my fancy!

So, this time, I came up with this!

This is Marilyn in Pink!

The image has been very lightly coloured with flexmarkers then

cut out with a nestie before being matted on to a piece of the

Dottie Card by Anna Marie Designs

Some self adhesive "diamonds" from my stash & a faux silk ribbon bow to finish!

(I loved that ribbon but that's the very last of it!)

Thanks for popping in! I hope you like my card!

I sure had fun making it!

Just Married

Good morning Lovelies!

It's Thurdsday so it's time for a Just Inklined Card!

Here's what I made this week!

As June is a busy month for weddings I have gone with that as my theme!

The image I have used is Just Married, one of the fab images

perfect for wedding cards from Just Inklined!

My card base is 8"x8" & the DP I have used is

from the First Edition Dreamcatcher stack.

I have added some punched hearts (Martha Stewart) to which I added some

glamour dust. I also added a length of wide lace from my stash,

The flourishes are a Marianne Creatables Die, the seam binding bow from

my stash & the flowers were handmade for my by Lee ages ago!

I added some gems around the edge of the image & on the lights

of the car! There was a bit of Glamour Dust involved too!

This image always makes me thin of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,

I like to think the Happy Couple are taking off to enjoy theirnew life together!

Thanks for popping by! I hope you like my card!

Don't Be Square

Hi di hi everyone!

I'm back with another card to share!

This is my DT inspiration card for the new challenge over at

Crafting For All Seasons, where the theme this fortnight is

Don't Be Square

Here's my little card!

I made a little rocker card which features an image from our sponsor

Stitchy Bear Outlet

This is Marilyn by IkesArt, isn't she stunning!

I was tempted not to add any colour but wasn't sure of the TOU

so thought it best to add just  little touch of colour to the skin & hair

with my flexmarkers.

I cut the base card  with a Scalloped Circle Grand Nestability, then

cut the DP using a plain circle. The image was cut with smaller nesties.

I was going to add some flowers then I spotted the little butterfly

with it's little diamante's & decided to use that on top of a triple bow.

The sentiment was done on the pc & the ribbon I have used is recycled

from a gift. So, although my card is black & white, it's green too! lol

Thanks for popping in, it's always great to see you!

I hope you can play along in the challenge this time & look

forward to visiting you!

The card base is 8"x8"

A little bit of matting & layering.

Hi all, I trust you're well!

I have a card to share with you today! Yay!

This one is a quick & simple little card for La Pashe & was made using

one of the new Decoupage For Men Sheets

This isn't the main picture, but one of the little extras you get

on the sheet. The papers are by La Pashe also.
All of the items on this card were left over from the main project
I made to send off to them as a sample, with the exception of
the sentiment, which was left over from another project!
Even the base card was leftover from when I cut an A4 sheet
of card-stock in two to make another card.

The sentiment & image are both popped up slightly

on some foam shaker tape but it's still with in the limits for

posting, with a normal letter postage stamp, in the UK.

Hope you like my little card!
