November ATCs For CMD Swap

Took part in the November swap over at Cardmaking Downloads Forum. The theme this month was Hello Cupcake! At first I didn't think I could do it but eventually came up with some little easel ATCs  made using a download from the Cardmaking Download Website.

I have seen some swaps where the ATCs are all the same, decided I'd make them all the same but different!!!
The backing papers used for the base cards are all designed for using with this pyramage. They pyramage has been inked at the edges using different coloured promarkers.

The stoppers were punched at the bottom using 2 different types of punch! I did have a third pic but it's gone AWOL but I'm sure you have the general idea by now!!!
Whilst I'm here I'd like to welcome my latest follower Happy Days! Nice to see you & thanks for following!
That's it for now I'm afraid! I do have another card & perhaps something else to share with you tomorrow!
Until then.........

Birthday Invitation

I have a special birthday approaching fast & we had a slight change of plan so I had to get some invitations done quick sharpish!

I chose a freebie digi image (I can't remember where I picked her up) & printed several of them onto matt photo paper. Coloured with my Promarkers, matted onto different colours of mirror card & added a ribbon. The wording was printed straight onto the card for speed & I included all the info on the insert! I am quite pleased with the speedy results and they are all ready to pop into the post in the morning!

Retirement Card for Mums Friend

Mum's Friend, Frances, has finally seen sense & retired from her job in a care home.
She has devoted her life to looking after other people but it's now time to look after herself & we wish her a very long & happy retirement!!!
This is the card I made for her!

Not a typical image for a retirement card but Frances had a Flapper Party to celebrate her big day!
The party was originally arranged for her 60th Birthday but had to be postponed as sadly, she lost her mother that week!

I picked up the shaped card at the Hobbycrafts show in the SECC, Glasgow.
The image is printed onto Super Smooth Decoupage Paper and matted onto some self adhesive Vellum from my stash.

The image is once again Charlston Daisy from Di's Digi Downloads, coloured with my Promarkers!
I think I'm improving but still have a long way to go!
The stopper is made from some card again from my stash which I cut with a scalloped square die then cut in half, added some ribbon & a computer generated sentiment. The paper flower came from the show at the SECC too!

I have scheduled this post so hopefully as you read this I'm at Frances' house for a crafty evening with her, Mum and a friend!
Update:- We had a lovely evening & Frances was delighted with her card! Promarker sales will be well on the up!!!
I promised I would find some challenges to enter so here goes!
Hope it fits the bill, they sure had fun remembering the 20's & 30's at the party!
I Have also entered Our Creative Corner Attitude of Gratitude Challenge. We certainly are grateful for all the care Frances has given to the elderly over the years in her working life. As well as just being a lovely caring person in general!
Have also entered the Raise the Bar Challenge Lets See Those Curves The Card is curved, the corners are rounded and the stopper is scalloped! Hope it fits the bill here too!!!

Card For A QS

My husband gave me one of my biggest cardmaking challenges yet!!! His friend from work is about to do his RICS APC and he wanted a Best of Luck card featuring several specific items!
Here's what I came up with!

I used a Stepper Card Template by Debbie Lauder, available from both Craftystash and Cardmaking downloads. This one is for personal use but there's also a Commercial Use Version available.
The rest of the card was made from pics I poached from the www. The metre stick is to scale & I made the greeting on the pc. The gold corregated card was from my christmas stash but I just thought it went well here!
OH seemed pleased with the result!

Finally Got a Half Decent Pic!!!

Here we are finally with another card!!!!
I've had trouble getting decent pics due to the lack of daylight! At last I've cracked it & can show you the card I made for my niece who's birthday it is tomorrow!

I picked up these great shaped cards at the Hobbycrafts show last week in Glasgow. I have some nesties Labels No.1 which I think match the shape perfectly so decided to use these to matt & layer the image! I thought it looked a little too formal  so I offset the image to distract from that!
The Image is called Charlston Daisy and is available from Di's Digi Downloads
I printed the image onto super smooth decoupage paper and coloured her using promarkers, which I also picked up at the show in Glasgow! A girl has to treat herself!!!The backing papers were from my stash, the blue one was from a docrafts pack eons ago & the pink is from the Shabby Milly download kit by Joanne Barsby & is availablle at Cardmaking Downloads.

I rescued the ribbon from a boxed gift set & recycled it here! The flowers were also from the show in Glasgow! See how much fun I had!!!

Update!!! I gave this card to my niece today & she was over the moon with it!! So glad you liked it Sarah!!!

I would like to enter this card in to the following challenges:-
