Good morning blogland!
Are we all enjoying the heatwave or is it a bit much?
I'm loving it except when I have to be in work!
It's too too hot in there! lol
Anyhoo! Here is the card I have to share with you today!
I've made a birthday card for a girl/ woman using
"Riding Along" decoupage sheet from La Pashe it is
also on the new La Pashe Something For Everyone CD-Rom
I have to say it makes me want to sing The Pushbike Song (by the mixtures)!
Here's a closer look at the image, I cut it out & used foam pads to layer.
I've kept the layout fairly simple as I tend to do!
The design paper & the sentiment are from the CD too!
I should have added some flowers in her basket!
I added a die cut fence some butterflies & a little row of roses.
A sheer ribbon triple bow to finish off!
You can see the dimension better from this angle.
If you haven't seen the CD, pop over to La Pashe & check it out!
There really is Something For Everybody!
I'd like to enter this card in a few challenges:
Allsorts - Transport

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet summery card! I like how you made a scene using fence die cuts, and the flower ribbon and butterflies are such lovely, feminine touches.
ReplyDeleteMorning Dawn, Oh my goodness your decoupage is brilliant .....fabulous layout totally stunning card xx
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card, and she is so enjoying herself! Still love that song too!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this card, so many bits to look at....and I loved the video too, we had a great laugh looking at the fashion and especially the dancing. I would've sworn it was done by Mungo Jerry though ......I passed my driving test in 1971, heck, 42 years ago. Wish I could turn the clock back :-(
ReplyDeleteDawn, the details on this are wonderful! Love the fence, the ribbon flowers, and the layers you did on this wonderful image! Great card. Hugz!

Aw, Dawn, what a darling, dimensional card - love the movement in it and all the pretty features, but I most especially like the use of "panels" in your card. It's all one scene, but the components are featured beautifully!
