Gardening Boots (Hers)

Good morning blog land! 
Is it Thursday already?? I hope you've all been having a good week!
I've got a busy weekend ahead being sociable so I don't see much crafting
going on in this house! lol
So, being Thursday, here is my card for Just Inklined!


I've gone for a shabby chic kinda look with this one!
The image I have used is the fantastic
Gardening Boots (Hers) available also on The Best of Just Inklined CD Rom
There is of course, also a his version!
These are just perfect for summer while everything in the garden is rosy!


I coloured the image with my usual mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers.
I then cut out with a circle nestie & inked with Antique Linen distress ink.

For the layout I used this weeks sketch 


I did jig it about a bit  bringing things forward & swapping shapes around .
It is also difficult to see due to the colours on the papers 
but I'm pretty sure you can see the sketch in there!
Goodness knows where the papers are from, I seem to remember
 they arrived when we were in the midst of doing up the house & got put away 
whenever they arrived. the wrappers is plain cellophane which does't help at all!
Please feel free to enlighten me if you know!


I threaded some twine through the lace & tied a little bow.
The buttons are from my stash
The sentiment ticket is from Crafty Pad Designs.

    Oh, Dawn, I love those boots! Just did a shopping binge at Inklined a week or so ago but I'll have to go back now. Don't know how I missed the boots last time around. Fantastic card. Love the papers and the lace trim!
