Everybody Knows An Everyday Hero

Everyday Hero's, everybody know's one!


Meet Evan, he's just one of those hero's!
He hides out over at Dude Time Doodles & is ready to go whenever he's called upon!
Actually his poor partner is laid up & although Evan is normally quite good around the house.
He's been left with all the housework & the task of carer too!
Can't be easy but he looks fairly cool with it!
Today sees a new challenge over at Dude Time Doodles Challenge blog!
This week it's a colour photo/inspiration challenge!

We want to see how you use the colours, or the pictures to inspire you!!
We don't mind what you do as long as you make a card for 
a male & use the inspiration! 

I opted for an easel card.
I coloured Evan up with promarkers! 
I think he must be a little colour blind, I'm a bit dubious about his outfit!


I cut him out using a nestie & ran a promarker around the edge to ink it up a bit!
I added 3 little button embellishments.


The ticket sentiment I've used is from The Crafty Pad Designs 
& I gave it a bit of a colour with promarkers too!
The DP I have used is from Robyn's Fetish. I've had it printed off in my stash for ages.
Not very manly perhaps! I think it goes well for this card though!
The corrugated card I have used for matting has been in my stash forever too!
I also wrapped a couple of bits of ribbon around it & tied in a double knot!

    Love what you did with Evan, Dawn! Love that you made it an easel card, too. Perfect color choices, despite his outfit. Nobody said everyday heros had to be color coordinated! lol

    LOL! What fun! My hubby does most the cooking. But I'd never get him in a apron!! Love your card. I just made my 1st Easel card, so yours got my attention when I saw it at Make It Monday.

    Such a fun card Dawn, I love that image. My Daddy takes wee notions every now and again to do the housework. Once he starts, he wont stop until everywhere is spotless. My hubby takes made notions like this too. Whats wrong with doing the dusting today, hoovering tomorrow etc, etc!! Once they pop, they cant stop!! Brilliant card, I love the colours.
