I apologise for the quality of the pic, it was taken with my craft light shining from above & doesn't show off the rich colours to their best advantage! I maybe should have used a darker background for the pic too!
This is a spring card!
The pyramage is a download sheet designed by Debbie Lauder over at Craftystash!
The design comes with a choice of several matching backing papers.
I printed the pyramage & backing paper onto matt photopaper which gave it an almost velvety look.
The base card was made using a sheet of linen textured white card.
I assembled the pyramage using pinflair glue & matted & layered some of the BPs on to the base card & the black backing for the pyramage using photoglue. The edges of the base card were inked with distress ink, applied using a sponge. I also made a tag to which I added some of the BPs & inked the edges.
I haven't added a greeting yet as I'm not sure that the recipient won't see this card before the important date!!!
This card is my entry to the February Competition over at Craftystash where Debbie is offering some fantastic prizes! (You even get a vote as to which prize you'd prefer!)
The only rule is that you must use one of Debbie's design sheets which are available on both Craftystash & Cardmaking Downloads. There are also a number of freebies there which you can use to enter!
Do pop on over to look for yourself & take part if you can!
Cool card Dawn! I was thinking the other day about trying to make some cards using some of the fab styles like spring card, tri shutter etc. You've just reminded me!
