A Christmas Fish For You!

Good morning all!
It's Thursday & today I'm sharing a Just Inklined creation with you!

The image I have used is A Christmas Fish isn't he just fab?
The base card is Kraft cardstock from Southfields
For my layout, I used the sketch from

I coloured him up with Promarkers & Flexmarkers the used a
Sakura Clear Star pen to highlight some areas.
Not sure if you can see my glittery bits in the photo.

The papers I have used were digital & have been printed out in my stash
for ever.I think they are from Scrapbookingmad,
The plain red paper was in a spiral bound pad, again from Southfields.
When I tore a sheet out, I liked the effect of the tabs,
so I decided to keep them on!

I inked all the edges with a gold inkpad.
I hope you like my little creation!
Thanks so much for popping in, it's always nice to see you!

A Piece Of Cake!

Morning all you lovely bloggers!
What's on the cards today!? lol See what I did there?
It's Sunday & time for a new challenge at
so if you're at a loose end.........
Our challenge this week is hosted by the lovely Diane & the theme is

Here's my card!

I went all White On White! lol
I do love doing these but I usually keep it for Christmas!

Our wonderful sponsor this week is

who are offering 3 digi images to one lucky winner.
They also very kindly supplied the DT with images for this challenge.

The image I chose is
Isn't it sweet!
I felt it just cried out for some soft tones so
I used my flexmarkers to colour it up with a little touch of Promarker too!
I embossed the panels using the Cuttlebug folders
Swiss Dots & Swirls I think most people who have an embossing machine
have these. I remember having terrible embossing folder envy before I had them! lol
I then matted the image & embossed panels with Linen Texture card

I also used a Crafty Pad Designs Happy Birthday Circle Sentiment

The ribbon is from my stash as is the button which I think came from a
candy give away that I won a while  ago!
The inside of the card has embossed panels too.
I'll add the pic to let you see, but it makes my card look really pink
as it was taken indoors under a fluorescent light!

I hope you can play this time, it's great to be able to visit all your blogs
 & admire your wonderful creations!
See you there!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

DTD Fall Colours

Good morning crafty bloggers!
It's the first Wednesday of the month which means it's time
for a new challenge at Dude Time Doodles!
This week we'd like to see you use Fall Colours on your creations!
Here's mine!

I made a square card using Fall/Autumn papers from Lidl
The edges of the papers were distressed with
a pair of serrated edge scissors!

I coloured Rocky with Promarkers & Flexmarkers, trying
to keep to fall colours. I streaked in a background with my Flexmarkers
& smudged it with some fluid chalk ink-pads

I wrapped some twine around my paper & secured with a knot,
topping it off with a button which was in a bag I got from
Woodware they're all different & some of them are just amazing!

Not sure if the numbers are a speed limit or something else???
I cut them out with my Cricut then put them through my paper ribbler.
I have decorated the inside of the card too but didn't get a photo!
Thanks for stopping by!

A Pretty Pastel Christmas Card

Good morning bloggers!
I know, I don't usually post on a Saturday but
I won a challenge over at Two Sisters Challenge Blog
& was invited to GD with them!
I love playing in their challenges so,of course I jumped at the chance
although I probably shouldn't have as we are still in the midst of
DIY & redecoration! lol However, there is light at the end of the tunnel &
all the floorboards in the lounge are actually on the floor now!
Next up is the hallway!

The theme for  the Two Sisters Challenge #116
is Pastel Christmas
Here's my card!

It's a little A6 card. I'm trying to keep my Christmas cards as flat
as I can this year so I can  mail them with a normal stamp.
The pink ribbon is from my stash & the papers are remnants of
two digital downloads by Elaine Hayhoe over at
Card Making Downloads here & here.
They have been printed off since at least last year
in my Christmas Stash!

The image is the lovely Finch On Pine by IKEsART
I coloured it up using my Promarkers & Flexmarkers
in pastel type shades.

I decorated the inside of the card with scraps
of the DP's. I also added some Papermania Mosaic Gems
just to finish the card off!

Good evening lovely bloggers!
I just had to share this story with you!
The lady in  the photo below is Lorna
who is a crafty friend!

Lorna has spent this year raising funds for the
Juvenile Diabetes Unit at The Royal Sick Childrens Hospital in Edinburgh!

Here's Why!

"My grandson has Type 1 diabetes and, like a lot of things, it is not until it is in your own family you realise just how this changes daily life with constant counting carbs and injections to counteract any hypo.

I only have about 8 weeks left of my fundraising year for the above cause and I would be really grateful for any donations or if you could please share this post with all your friends."

Lorna is a very talented crafter & works in Southfield Stationers
She has been making & selling craft items & has worked really hard at her fundraising!
To date she has raised the fantastic sum of £1,230 for this worthy cause!
You can read more about Juvenile Diabetes Here
You can donate on her Just Giving Page
If everyone donates just £2 it would make a real difference
to Lorna's fundraising & to the Juvenile Diabetes Unit
as well as all the children who need to use this facility!

"My employer is hosting a Charity Day for the above, so if you are free please come along for a fun day.."
10 November 10am - 5pm
Southfield Stationers
Hardengreen Industrial Estate
Eskbank
Dalkeith
Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Lorna x

If you live in the area, perhaps you can pop in to support Lorna & have
a little fun at the same time!
Maybe think of stocking up on some crafty goodies too! lol
There's a fantastic little coffee shop too!
Thanks for reading this little story!
