Foodies Festival Holyrood Park

We're off to the Foodies Festival later
Hoping to catch a couple of the Celeb Chefs doing their thing!

Lots of free samples and tasty things to eat & drink there, or to take home!

One stall is selling Grey Squirrel which is best cooked in the
slow cooker or pressure cooker apparently! Interesting!!!

Cargo | Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2010

Caught this fantastic production at the Mela in Leith Links.
The Mela is an Asian gathering/fair type occasion!
It has been running in Edinburgh for a good number of years & has
been taken over by the Festival. Can't help thinking it's lost it's way a bit!

Edinburgh Photos

This is where we've been hanging out over the last couple of days.

It's in the heart of the city where the main part of the university is and is surrounded
by many of the venues in which the Fringe shows are held!

As of today, the Fringe officially starts and our beautiful city will be bursting at the seams
with tourists and performers, talent scouts, agents etc as well as people trying
to go about their usual daily business.
We're back off up there today to see what shows we can see and what stars
we can spot among the crowds!
