At The Beach

Good morning all!

It's Monday, which means we have a new challenge for you over at 

Eureka Stamps, where the theme for this week is

#149 At The Beach

Here's my DT inspiration card!

As you can see, I went more for what you can see from the beach!

(I'm sorry about the photo but I just couldn't get this to look straight at all!)

 As soon as I saw this gorgeous mermaid, I just had to use her!

(She is Digi 6003 Lg Mermaid.)

I made a shaker card, 

The shaker part is a little acetate pocket, with the image placed behind it, inside the card.

(makes her look like she's underwater)

I used an A5 base, which I covered with some patterned vellum from Lidl,

then die cut an aperture in the centre.

I used a slightly bigger die to cut the acetate for the pocket.

I sealed the acetate on 3 sides, filled with lots of little beads & sequins, then

 covered with a frame which I had doodled around with my Sakura Stardust pens.

Then stuck to the base.

On the inside I added a pattern paper which matches the veullum, 

then added the image! Here's a closer look at her.

I had great fun colouring the image with my promarkers & Sakura Stardust pens.

I love the sparkly effect that the stardust pens give!

I cut her out using the same die as the aperture, inked with some distress ink, 

whilst still in the die, then placed her so that she was 

visibe through the shaker window.

Baby Boy

Todays's card is to welcome a Brand New Baby Boy

I used a deoupage download from La Pashe.

The base card is 6"x6". I added some embossed cardstock, a ribbon & some lace.

The cute little sentiment is a Tattered Lace die

It's Holiday Time

Good morning all!

I'm back with a card I made for La Pashe

This was made using the Watercolour wishes set.

I placed some acetate over the aperture in the card  then covered with

 one of the design papers. I stuck the background sheet to the inside of the card then 

a added the layers to the front.  The sentiment is popped up on some foam pads

to add some dimension & the small plane is from the elements sheet.

A fairly quick & simple little card to make but very effective!

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Good Morning all!

Happy Monday to you, I hope you're well!

It's the start of a brand new week which means it time for a

 brand new challenge at Eureka Stamps

The theme this week is

#148 I See Stars (Use Stars)

The image I've used for my card is the cute little digi 6401 Large Star

I coloured it up with my promarkers, cut out with a circle nestie

then inked with Spun Sugar DI whilst still in the die!

Next, I covered the stars with a layer of Anita's 3D Clear Gloss

& sprinkled with some Glamour dust! 

Stars should twinkle, right?

My base card is 6x6inch & the gorgeous papers I've used were 

freebies from here & here

Each layer has been popped up on 1mm foam pads for dimension.

I punched some stars & layered them up, then popped up on 3mm foam pads

The sentiment was done on my PC using  free for personal use font called 

Janda Silly Monkey which you can find here.

Butterfly Birthday

Good morning all!

Hope you're having a good weekend!

I found this lovely little topper kicking about in my scraps box!

I think it might well be Hunkydory but can't be entirely sure.

The shaped card & sentiment were in there too & it looked 

pretty much like they went together, so that's what I did!

I added some lace to the topper & a scrap of matching CS behind the sentiment.

Both are popped up on foam pads for dimension!

Pencil case 2

Good Morning all! 

Happy Thursday! It's almost the weekend!

The card I have to share today is a little mash up/stash/scrap pile buster!

I love using up my scraps & seeing what I can come up with!

The base card is A6.

I've used the left over little circle image from the La Pashe

Pencil Case, Girl decoupage sheet.

I cut it out & inked with some liquid chalk ink.

The DP is from my stash. I was never that taken with it until

I was making this project. The flower is from the DP too.

I've cut it out & layered it a little. The little sentiment tags

are by LOTV. These were already stamped & embossed with black ep.

The ribbon is one of my little recycled bits & the lace

is from my stash!

I've added a plain paper insert.

Sick Puppy

Good Morning all, Happy Monday

It's time for this weeks challenge over at Eureka Stamps

where the theme is

#147 Red White & Blue

I've used digi 2002(492) Sick Puppy for my card.

This little puppy looked so blue, I just had to use him.

I altered the colour in Word & shaded with my pencils.

I added the sentiment before printing.

The base card is A6. I used red & blue cardstock to

matt & layer. The borders were punched with a Martha Stewart Doily punch.

I added a little bit of (my recycled from tops) ribbon & a 

little double bow to embellish.

I haven't done anything inside the card as yet.

A New Home

Good Morning all!

I have a little card to share today!

This one is for a girl at work who has just bought her very first home!

Such an exciting time!

I used Tree House in Pink from the Best Of La Pashe 2014 CD Rom

The DPS are from the CD too!

You can also download this design from the website

I cut out the decoupage & layered with foam pads.

The layers are all lightly inked with a liquid chalk inkpad but 

it doesn't show up very well.

I added some sheer ribbon & some gingham ribbon from my stash

I decorated the inside too!

The sentiment was done on my PC in a sweet little font called

Vanessa Loves You which you can find here. It's free for personal use!

I used a little Spellbinders die to cut it out!

Sewing Cat Birthday

Good morning all!

Happy Hump Day! I hope you're all well!

Today's card is a simple little affair!

 I've used the sweetest little image

Sewing Cat from 2CuteInk

The A6 card base is Linen embossed CS.

The image & sentiment were printed on to a plain panel

I've coloured the spool of thread with my Promarkers & gone round

the outside of the image too with a little shading to ground it!

I added a stip of lace & ribbon, a couple of buttons & some tiny
pearls from my stash to embellish!

There you have it! Sweet & simple!

Good morning all & a very Happy Monday to you all!

I hope you had a good weekend!

It's time for this weeks challenge over at

Eureka Stamps

Where the theme is # 146 Paper Piecing

Here's my card!

I've used the sweet litle Digi 22205 Kite

The base card is 6"x6" made using some cardstock from Lidl

I added the image 3 times in my graphics programme

& rotated it in different directions to make my main image panel.

I then printed the image onto some plain card & two differen design papers,

 also from Lidl. Next, I cut out some of the pieces from each colour to 

paper piece the image.

I added some punched starts to the corners of the image & a sentiment

that I made uo on my pc.

The inside of the card is decorate to match.
