Baking Shelf 2

Good morning all! It seems I'm on a roll this week! lol
It's Thursday & time for a card for Just Inklined
Here it is!

The lovely image which I have used is called
It reminds me of visiting relatives when I was a little girl, there was
always a cake being made, in the oven or ready to eat!
I used this sketch
from Sketch Saturday for my layout

Here's a closer look at the image.
I coloured it up with my watercolour pencils!
I think I still need a lot of practice but I'm fairly happy with
how it turned out! I inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink
The papers I have used are Kitschy Kitchen by Melissa Frances
Perfect for a kitchen/Baking themed card with all those little cakes.

I added a little Petit Four case under the seam binding bow
just to embellish!  Lol! Well it's a bit different &
this card is destined for a Truffle Making friend of mine!

Thanks for popping in, I hope you like my card.
I'd like to enter it in a few challenges:
Just Inspirational - Anything Goes
PDE Linky Party - Friendship Cards
Top Tip Tuesday - Use A Sketch
Tuesday Throwdown - Baked Goods

  21. Oh, Dawn, I love everything about this card! The gingham paper is magnificent and perfect for a 'kitchen' scene. The bow is lovely and I adore the way you did the flags, matting them with the brown paper. Now, I have to put on two different DT hats and thank you for playing along at both Tuesday Throwdown and Open-Minded. Good luck and hope to see you again soon.
