Happy Hump Day all!
It's Wednesday & time for a Dude Time Doodles Challenge!
In the past, the first week of the month has been a sketch challenge but
we've mixed it up & this week we'd like you to make a card/project for
we've mixed it up & this week we'd like you to make a card/project for
one of November's Special Day's
I chose World Hello Day which is November 21st
You can read a little about it here if you're interested!
Here's my card!
I've just got back from holidays & while I was there,
I was inspired by the chef's who did the
"Show Cooking" in our hotel!
They could not only say hello to all of the guests in their own language
but also understand what they wanted cooked for them!
I made a 5" x5" square card blank for the base card.
The papers I have used are from Papermania.
I directly printed hello in 10 different languages around the edge
of the first paper, then matted it onto some red linen card stock.
Next I added some bakers twine on either side,
tying a little metal charm on one side.
I added the second paper in three sections.
The image I have used is of course from
Bonibleaux Designs at Dude Time Doodles
& he's called Chef Burly Becky!
He's immaculate in his chef's whites & a whizz at spinning his whisk
as well as being a wonderful chef!
I coloured him up with promarkers then cut him to shape & inked the edges.
I also added a little Card Candi detail
Here you can see the little charm a bit closer up!
I added a matt of the red card & one of white card which I had inked,
to the inside of the card.
I hope you like my card & I hope you can play along with the
Dude & Dudettes at Dude Time Doodles this week!
Here's a quick reminder of the rules:
1. Make a creation for one of November's Special Days as listed above & use the
Dudettes creations for inspiration!
2. You're NOT required to use BDD images although it would really make us happy & giggle a lot
(yep even Kevin!!!) if you did!
3. Your creation must be masculine themed, you can use humour, innuendo, be a little
sarcastic even but it has got to be for a DUDE!
4. Use the InLinkz at Dude Time Doodles to submit your creation!
I'd like to submit my card in a few challenges as listed below!
