Meet Kit Kat!

This is my DT card for Challenge #14 over at Digi's With Attitude! where the theme is  How do YOU do it?

Now, I had lots of ideas on this one, gemstones, glitter, liquid pearls, cut out paper shapes.........the list was endless but I decided to go with these little heart shape sequin type confetti as it mirrored the shape of the  bottom of the umbrella!
I coloured the image with????  Yep, my promarkers and I used the blender pen to give him that washed out look! Next, I simply cut the corners with a corner punch and matted onto some lightweight card. I did the same with two panels of Designer Paper, I thought the paper was a bit like a rainbow with all the colours! Sorry, I can't tell you what the paper is as it was part of the candy I won from Maria over at Inkymitts! If you haven't already done so, you should check out her awesome blog!
I do sooo love these candy giveaways! Thank you Maria, perhaps you can, once again, enlighten us on the origin of the paper!
I also added a bit of knotted ribbon from my recycled ribbon stash. (The stuff you cut off your clothes!)
Next I added the computer generated sentiment which I again matted onto the same card.

For some reason, not sure why! I wanted to make this cat talk with an accent! Lol!
The sentiment was attached with foam pads for dimension.

Finally I added the flower which was cut out from the same paper, using a Tim Holtz Alterations Bigz die on my Big Shot.
I inked the edges with distress inks, used a large embossing tool on the petals to give them dimesion, then layered & fixed with a brad.
I added a couple of fern leaves punched out with my new Woodware Punch and attached with a foam pad.
