Happy Birthday Joyce

Good morning peeps!

It's been a while I know! I'm Not getting much time in my craft room 

over the summer months but I did manage to make this little card

for Joyce, my dear Mother In Law's 80th Birthday today.

The base card is 8"x 8".

The papers are from the My Minds Eye, Best of Paisley pad.

The gorgeous image is So Chic For HOLLY, by Rick St Dennis

She's perfect for my MIL as she also  has two poodles!

The image was coloured with a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers.

I made the sentiment button in my graphics programme.

I've included it in Png. form below.

The lace & vintage style seam binding are from my stash.

I used spellbinders circle dies to cut out the image& entiment, then 

distress inked whilst still in the die.

 The fish tail was cut using a square punch.

The inside was decorated too.

Here's one of the cards I've made as a sample for the show!

This is Bloomin' Beaches!

You'd think a day at the beach would be fun but just look at the weather!

A real Birthday Treat NOT! Poor Thing!

The Decoupage is easy to cut out & I've layered it with pinflair glue.

I've used an A5 card blank & the DP I have used is from La Pashe too.

I distressed the edges of the DP & the image with a pair of serrated scissors

then  inked with liquid chalk.

I've added some Anita's 3d Clear Gloss to the raindrops & her glasses.

I've wrapped some beaded twine around the & added a piece of 

burlap/hessian from my stash. 

The little fish charm just landed where it is so I attached that too!

The shells are die cut with Marianne Creatables & also inked with liquid chalk!

La Pashe

Hi all,

Here's a La Pashe card I have to share with you!

This is made using the Floral Decoupage Range. 

I cut out the decoupage & layerd it with some Pinflair Glue

The image was originally square with a frame around it but I trimmed it down

to a rectangular shape then added a plain pink mat behind it.

The card base is 7x7"

I trimmed a piece of design paper which matches the image & added a

mat of plain pink paper with a punched boder on either side behind

Next I added a doily, then the image on top.

The sentiment was also from the decoupage sheet & matches beautifully.

I popped that up for some added dimension & added a sheer ribbon double bow 

with a heart shaped button at the centre.

Here's a little side view which shows the dimension a little bit better.

I'm Back With A Card!

Hi Guys, I'm back again finally!

My poor blog has been sitting abandoned while I've been making all sorts of 

Christmas bits & pieces for various different things!

Anyhoo, here is the card I'd like to share with you today!

A birthday card, made using the Lelli-Bot Crafts kit,

Pure Elegance Butterflies & Lace 

The quality of the kit is amazing & it came with lots of brilliant embellishments.

I used a simple layout, using some of the gorgeous embossed card from the kit,

The ribbon, feather & button are all from the kit too!

I did add an extra butterly from my stash!

This photo shows the inside of the card which I decorated with one of the

design papers from the kit as well as some black & white cardstock.

I've missed posting but have been so busy I just haven't had time!

I'm hoping things will settle down now & I'll be able to get my Christmas cards writtien,

Good Morning All,

I'm here to share another little CAS card with you!

I used the lovely Crafts Too, Cherry Blossom embossing folder on the bae card.

The little daisies were punched from leftover scraps of Dottie card 

from Anna Marie Designs, then shaped with an embossing tool.

I found myself singing "Daisy Daisy" while I was doing this! lol

I added a few little self adhesive gems to the centre of the flowers

& a Happy Birthday sentiment cut out using my Cameo!

Good morning all!

I had intended posting this card on Saturday but whoopsy, it didn't happen!

This morning I'm sharing a bright & cheery Get Well Soon card!

I'm having so much fun with my washi tape at the moment! lol

I did plan to add a different flower to this one but it was nowhere to

be found & when I opened my button box, this little one was 

right on top just begging to be used!

The leaves were part of a little blog candy I won, thanks CG!

I added a little Card Candi to the centre of the button, 

to pull it all together!

Good Morning all! Happy Saturday!

It's a beautiful morning here!

I thought I'd share a little card I made using Washi Tape

Quick & simple, but I love it!

I used a Linen Embossed Card-stock A6 base.

The sentiment is printed in Enviro Font

I added few little fabric flowers from my stash.

The centre of the flowers is Card Candi.

Finally, some torn Washi Tape to finish with!

Pretty - Petticoats Three

Good morning all!

It's Thursday once again & almost the weekend!

So, it's time for my Just Inklined card for this week!

The image is one of my favourite favourites

Petticoats Three

I used a shaped card blank from Craftwork Cards as the base then

paper from the First Edition "Bo Ho Chic" pad.

I felt it had a vintagey shabby chic feel to it.

I changed the colour of the image in word, then

shaded with a "Linen" Flexmarker. It doesn't show up too well

in the photo but I wanted to keep the colour muted.

The image is matted on to the reverse of the DP

The sentiment is one I've had forever & was from Sentiments 4 You

I added a panel of DP which was edged with a Martha Stewart

 Doily Punch. I added some button twine, lace, flowers & a big

vintage button from my stash!

The inside of the card is decorated too!

Girly Decoupage

Good moning all!

I have a card to share with you today!

This one was made using a little decoupage sheet which I think

 was a freebie with a magazine. I have no idea ehich though!

The base card is Dottie Card from Anna Marie Designs.

I used some silver mirror card for matting.

A closer look at the decoupage.

I punched a border using a Martha Stewart Punch & added some sheer ribbon.

Simple & quick to assemble. The perfect little crafty fix!

Good Morning all!

I hope everyone is having a great week!

It's Thursday & it's time for my Just Inklined card!

The image I have used is the gorgeous

Strawberry Pot

perfect for so many occasions, this time I've used it for a birthday!

The papers I've used are from the Making Memories - Maddi stack.

The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. I love the shape of it!

Here's a closer look at the image!

I love strawberries, the just remind me of the long hot days of summer & they're

so yummy too!  This image just makes me want to pick one & eat it!

I used my trusty Promarkers to colour it up then a circle to die cut.

The ribbon I've used is the very last of it from my stash!

I must go hunting for some more as I loved it so much!

As you can see, I've decorated the inside a little too!

Here's another little card from me!

This card was made using a kit I got from Create & Craft.
It was really quick to make!

The card base is Dottie Card from Anna Marie Designs

The measuring tape was part of the kit as was the sentiment button.

Embellishment wise, I picked up on the buttons in the image,

 & added a few in similar colours  from my stash. I also 

added a little ribbon bow.

I popped the image & the sentiment up on some shaker tape

for a little bit of dimension!

I don't often use these kits for card making but they are super speedy

 to put together & can give you lovely results!

Hi di hi everyone!

I'm back with another card to share!

This is my DT inspiration card for the new challenge over at

Crafting For All Seasons, where the theme this fortnight is 

Don't Be Square

Here's my little card!

I made a little rocker card which features an image from our sponsor

Stitchy Bear Outlet

This is Marilyn by IkesArt, isn't she stunning! 

I was tempted not to add any colour but wasn't sure of the TOU

so thought it best to add just  little touch of colour to the skin & hair

with my flexmarkers.

I cut the base card  with a Scalloped Circle Grand Nestability, then

cut the DP using a plain circle. The image was cut with smaller nesties.

I was going to add some flowers then I spotted the little butterfly

with it's little diamante's & decided to use that on top of a triple bow.

The sentiment was done on the pc & the ribbon I have used is recycled 

from a gift. So, although my card is black & white, it's green too! lol

Good morning lovely blog readers!

The card I have to share with you is one I made for a bride to be!
The lady in question is one of the girls I work with who is getting
married on the lovely island of Majorca in June.
As the wedding as abroad, and not everyone can attend,

we had a works lunch out in advance to wish her luck for her big day.

The image I have used is a specail image called 

 Breathe from Saturated Canary.

I don't think this one is available in the shop.

I love Krista's images & I was nervous about colouring this one

however, I am happy with the result I achieved.

I still need to work on the hair a bit though!

I kept it fairly simple with only the words, which were mounted on foam pads,

for embellishments.

Here you can see the inside of the card.

As there were a lot of people who wanted to write good luck

messages in the card, I added two panels inside.

Glad to say the bride to be was delighted with her card

& all of the messages written inside it!

New Release Digi's By Jak Heath

Hello lovely blog readers!

Today, I have something different to share with you!

In the past, as many of you will know, I've had the honour of working with
the amazing Jak Heath, on the Just Inklined & La Pashe DT's.

Jak is a very talented & inspiring lady!

However, things change & Jak has decided on a change of direction in her career.

One of the changes includes drawing her own digi's.

When I was asked if I'd like to colour up one of her new images,

I jumped at the chance of course!

Here's what I created!

The image I have used is City Nell. 

One of the fantastic set of 4 new digis, Jak has created!

You can purchae the images here

When you purchase the images you get a line drawing to colour &

 a pre-coloured image for toppers & quick cards etc. 

Jak also has a new Facebook Page where you can find out more of

what she's up to!

I coloured Nell up with promarkers.

 I wasn't aware at the time that the colours I had chosen

were so similar to the pre coloured image! lol

The papers I've used are Bird Song  from First Edition.

The little sentiment ticket is from The Crafty Pad Designs

I used a Martha Stewart  Doily border punch, a little crochet flower 

from my stash & a seam binding bow to finish it off!

The usual little side view just to round up!
