Saturday ATCs

Happy Saturday all! Hope it's as sunny with you as it is with me!
Thought I'd share some ATC's with you this afternoon!

I made these for the swap over at Ali's ATC Swap Stop.
You have to make 4 ATC's to fit in with the theme!
This months theme was Wild Thing!

For the bases I used Stepper Templates which were designed by Debbie Lauder from Craftystash!
I'm not sure if the ATC size is available on the website but I know the Stepper Templates are!

I used the Jungle Safari Clip Art collection from Scrapbookingmad & made my own papers, using the tiles in the collection, which I printed directly onto lightweight card for the bases!

The leaves were cut with a woodware punch & sentiments are computer generated.
For some reason I only have individual pics of three of them but you're probably getting bored now anyway!
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your Saturday!

Oh Dear, I Missed A Birthday!

Ooopsy deary me, I missed the birthday of a male friend of the family & had to get a card done ASAP!

Time fall back on  one of my old faithful tried & tested download sheets!

Boat

This sheet is from Craftystash & was designed by the lovely Debbie Lauder!

You can find it here!

The side stacker sheet comes with a greeting & a blank panel for your own greeting!
Also supplied in the download are the two DPs you see on the card! Fab eh!

Boat 2

The stacker was cut out & the edges were distressed with Weathered Wood ink  (as were most other elements on the card) before being built up using pinflair glue! Whilst I waited for this to dry I assembled the rest of the card!
I used an A4 sheet of recycled card for my base & simply folded it in half to give an A5  landscape card.
I added a matt using a  sheet of white linen texture paper, then the DP! I made a panel using the linen paper & the other DP. I added a border which was cut with a Martha Stewart punch . This was added to the panel along with a ribbon.
I matted the stacker & greeting on to the linen texture paper & added to the card.

To finish off I made a little rope with two buttons, two beads & some raffia.
Hope you like it! It’s great to know you have something there for emergencies!
Hugs

Good Morning! Another DT Project!

Morning all, I hope Monday is treating you well so far!
Today I’d like to share my latest DT make for the
Anything Goes Monthly Challenge over at My Grafico

Yes, this weeks card has turned into an Easter Bonnet!

I have to admit that this project was not all my own work!
I had a little help with some of the design features!
The image the DT were given to work with this week is the

dilekreadingtimedigitalstamp

As you may know, yesterday was Mother’s Day over here in the UK & as a result, we had a bit of a family get together!
We got all the bits for the Easter Bonnets to keep some of the younger ones entertained.
When a certain little lady saw the image I had coloured all ready for my project she fell in love with it & had to have it to decorate her bonnet.

The main image was coloured using promarkers & although you can’t see it very well, the eggs in the basket were coloured with Sakura Glitter pens to make them look like they were wrapped in foil!
First we chose some broderie anglaise to go around the brim of the hat.
This was hand stitched in place under close scrutiny! Next we added the silky flowers which were placed around the hat & again stitched into  place.
The image was backed with a voile flower & then stitched to the bonnet!

Finally the piece de resistance!

After great deliberation as to where the little peeper chicks should be placed, they were also stitched on! Some of them had to lose their feet in the process which led to much hilarity!
When it came time for the photo’s, I thought little miss may model it for me but no, she had to supervise the pictures too & nobody else was allowed near her bonnet!
Although not exactly the project that I set out to do, what fun we had making it!
I do hope you don’t mind that it wasn’t all my own work! lol
Pop on over & join in the challenge if you get a mo! If you get a chance stop by the other DT ladies blogs & leave them some love! I know they'd appreciate it!
Hugs

A New Card For A New DT & Two New Followers

Hi everyone, Happy Mother's Day to all of you out there who qualify for the title even if it's honorary!
I do hope you’re having a pleasant Sunday so far!
I'm here to share with you my first card, well technically my first two cards for

Yes I'm on the Crafty Pad Design Team whoop whoop!
dt badge
I've been itching to tell you this news for ages but had to wait until it was official!
Some of you may have had a sneak peek at this post when I slipped up yesterday & posted instead of saving to draft! Oooopsy!!!
The images we were given to work with this week were Debbie Moore’s fab window images! From over at The Crafty Pad Designs

I couldn’t chose between cats or dogs, I love both, so I did one of each!
The theme of the challenge is Spring flowers!
We are kindly sponsored this week by
crafty emmas store
The prize on offer is a £10.00 voucher to spend in her store! Click on the pic to visit!
I have been asked to stress this doesn’t include P&P!
I guess that means all that lovely lolly can be spent on crafting goodies!

As I didn’t want to detract from the sweet little flowers in Debbie’s window boxes, I decided to keep things fairly simple!
As you all know I love an easel card so I did a traditional easel for my Cat!

I coloured both images with Promarkers
I printed the green backing paper directly on to some cardstock for my card bases.
I then added matts of the other papers under the image.
I added some narrow ric rac ribbon which I knotted at the front, then the sentiment,

also from The Crafty Pad Designs which I used as the stop for the easel.
This was coloured & then mounted on foam tape to add some height.

The little flower is hand made with a little flower button threaded with ribbon at the centre!

For my Dog, I did a twisted easel.

The papers I have used are from the Spring Time Backing Papers Download over at Scrapbookingmad. They are just the perfect colours for that springtime feel!
This time, I added a bit of lace & some funky fibres & a paper flower with a little paper rose at the centre.

The cirlce sentiment was coloured, then cut out using a nestie & mounted on foam tape for a bit of height.
I do hope you like them. Thanks for looking!
I'd also like to say a big high & a big wave to Andrea & to Karen who have just joined us as followers!
No link yet for either but if I find one I'll let you know where you can visit her!
Hugs
