Stamp Out Stamp Thieves!

Help support all those lovely artists out there who are working hard to create
all those lovely stamps/digi's for us to create with, then finding that their artwork is being
stolen/ripped off & sold on other sites by people who claim it is their own artwork!

All In A Flap

Good Morning lovely blogging friends!
I have a card to share with you today!
This was a commission for a 60th Birthday.

The card base is one of my new 8x8in squares!
I'm still coming to terms with all that space!

The image is Flap Happy from LivvyBo Designs at
Isn't she just adorable!
I coloured her up with a mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers
then inked the edges with a little ink pad.

The Chinese roses & flourishes were cut with Marianne Designs dies

I used some Magic Mesh which was in my mystery parcel from
The papers are Paper Dasies from sugar plum paperie here

The sentiment ticket is from The Crafty Pad Designs
the ribbon is from my stash & was recycled from some gift wrapping.

I decorated the inside of the card using the same design!
I have to admit that when I showed the card was to the lady who ordered it,
she  decided that it would be perfect for her DIL's 30th Birthday &
the age was altered to suit! Any ideas for a 60th card?? lol
Thanks for sparing the time to pop in!
I hope you like her.

She's all set to pick up her young man for
a spooky night out on her broomstick!

I made the sentiment using a
free font  called 'Witches Magic'
 you can find it  here

The DP I have used is by
Michelle Stone  at Free Digital Scrapbooking

Hi everyone!
It's time for the new challenge at
The Crafty Pad!
This weeks challenge theme was chosen by our lovely Helen
We want to see you sand it, ink it,scrunch it, tear it.......the choice is yours!
Here's my DT offering for this week!

It's a Birthday Card for my niece.
The image I have used is The Crafty Pad Designs,
The papers are from the 'First Edition' Hideaway Stack
The colours were just perfect for the challenge at

She's been coloured with Flexmarkers & Promarkers
The edges of the papers were distressed with a pair of scissors,
then inked with Colour Q ink pads.

A side view to let you see the distressed edges.

The circle sentiment was a freebie I think from ages ago,
I added Birthday Wishes to the middle.
I also dotted about a few self adhesive pearls.

I tied some Funky Fibres around the ribbon bow.

The inside is decorated to match!
