Evening all!

Good evening everyone! I'm feeling quite pleased  with myself this evening as I'm all up to date on the housework, the cards I need are made & I have the rest of the weekend to play with!
Here's my latest card!

My Mum is helping a friend out with lambing this month and she has asked me to make a card for Lucy her friends daughter who is 2 tomorrow.
The image is Bo Peep from Sassy Cheryl's.
I've  had this digi for ages & I was going to use her on a card for my Mum but never quite got around to it.
I thought it was ideal for this occasion!
I coloured her up with promarkers & chalked in a sky. I used a white gel pen to add highlights.
I'm not sure where the colours I used came from but they came to me!
The DP I have used came from Cardmakingdownloads I think it was part of the Valentine Rose set.
The red is some lightweight card. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 you.
The ribbon is recycled from a baby gift set & the gems have been in my stash forever!
I kept it fairly simple as it is for a 2yr old.
Thank you for stopping by! I'm always happy to see you!

Fluffy Easter Bunnies & Chocolate

Good Morning all! It's Monday, the start of a whole new week & time for another DT card for

This week we were given the Fluffy Bunnies set from Cheri Wenger to use!

Such a cute set I'm sure you'll agree!

This card was inspired by the pansy's & crocuses or croci (whichever takes your fancy) which are in my garden & flower pots at the moment!
(We spent a couple of hours out there in the sun yesterday afternoon, giving it a bit of a spring clean & tidy!)

I used an A6 white card blank for my base.
The papers are from the Spring Collection @ Southfield Staioners, which were given to me to play with & blog about! (Lovely spring colours & excellent quality!)
I cut three panels from the paper, then simply matted those onto some yellow lightweight card. I tied a yellow spotty ribbon from the Papermania Capsule Collection around the bottom one, finishing with a bow!

The image was coloured with trusty promarkers, cut out with a nestie & then placed directly onto the panels!

The sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs - Kristina's Sentiment & was cut with a smaller nestie then layered onto a square of the DP & some yellow card. It was stuck down with some foam tape!
I did have some flowers ready to go onto this card but I felt it should stay simple & decided to go with the buttons, also  from the Capsule Collection.
I do hope you like it!

Spring Is In The Air!

Spring Is In The Air over at The Crafty Pad for Challenge #116!
Here is my DT card!

Our Challenge this week is sponsored by

Who are offering a fab prize of £10 to spend on anything of your choice!
They have templates, digi papers & lot's more too!

This week the lovely boss, Debbie from The Crafty Pad Designs
(where you can buy digi & polymer stamps)
has asked the DT to use a Window or Wishing Well image.

As I used Windows last week I thought I'd use the Wishing Well this week!
The image is called Boy & Girl at Wishing Well!

I coloured the image with Promarkers as ever & chalked in the sky!
The little girl started with beautiful blonde hair but, as I was a bit heavy handed with my chalks, it turned out green! (lol) She is now a beautiful brunette!
I distressed the edges of the image using a pink Ink It Up inkpad.
The ribbon was a bargain buy from Imag-e-nation!
£1 for a card with 4 or 5 different ribbons!
I made a border using a multi function punch and distressed it with the same pink.
I then matted & layered using lightweight blue card & the lovely Flora papers by Lilly Bimble
My base card is a white scalloped square.

The sentiment is a freebie from Sentiments4you, it was cut out with a scalloped circle nestie & I again distressed the edges with pink . It was mounted on foam tape to give it a bit of dimension.

The flowers and leaves are from Sweetpea Polly's Crafty Things on ebay.
Thank you soo much for stopping by. I do hope you have time to join in with our Spring Challenge over at The Crafty Pad.
Don't forget to stop by the other DT members blogs when you get a bit of time & leave them a little love too!

Appeal From a Friend!

Morning all! I've just received an email from a blogging friend & fellow DT member! She's in the process of setting up her own challenge blog & needs a little bit of help!
I'll let you read  for yourself!

"Hi girls,

I have a really big favour to ask of you!
It's to do with my challenge blog.
I'm just 3 people away from reaching my first magical 100 followers. I've been busy this past couple of days organising sponsors so that I can have a special celebration once I reach the 100.
So far I have some fabby companies on board, and I'm going to be able to run my very first challenge of my own with some lovely prizes. :0)
So what I'm asking of you all is this. If any of you don't follow me yet - please can you click on to my blog - http://kraftykarens.blogspot.com/ - and click on the follow me button, to bring me up to the 100 mark. And also - can you spread the word for me on your own blogs?
I'm going to be advertising on my blog late this afternoon/evening about the celebratory challenge and prizes etc.
Also, I would love for you all to come join me once it is live! :0)
I'm so happy to have reached the 100 mark honestly I can't even put the feeling into words for you all.
Any help you can offer me would be greatly appreciated!
Hugs.
xx "
