You Are My Sunshine - Eureka Meets QKR Stampede

Good Morning all!
The card I have to share today is one I made as part of the Eureka Stamps DT
We were invited to playalong with our DT Sisters over at QKR Stampede

The remit was to use the image Digi 11401 Picking Flowers from
QKR Stampede & to "add a sun"
I've used ,Digi 20207(205) Smiling Sun from Eureka Stamps

My card is very clean & simple.
The base is 6"x6" cardstock from Lidl
The images were coloured using a mix of Promarkers, Flexmarkers,
Copic & Distress Markers.
Next, I cut out the images using spellbinders circle dies.
The sun is mounted on foam tape for dimension.
The Hello is cut twice, once in Kraft & once in white using a Lawn Fawn Die.

The Sunshine word was printed directly on to the card base.
Thanks for popping by today, I do hope you like my little card!

Birthday Boy

Good Morning all!
How are we doing today? Well I hope!
It's almost the weekend & time to let your hair down!
The card I've made today is for a Birthday Boy who's 6 today!
Happy Birthday Brandyn!

The cute little boy image is Bradley With Football from
The Crafty Pad @ Card Making Downloads
I've had the image in my folder to be coloured for ages. He's been flipped to
face the opposite direction, I can't quite remember why!
I coloured him up with a mix of flexmarkers & Prisma Pencils.
He was the layered on to some scraps of card from my stash.
The card base is a 6"x6" kraft blank & the dotty paper is from La Pashe
The sentiment was also in my folder & I liked how it looked
with the image. I die cut it with a square die to give the effect of the label.
I used the trimmings from the base card & DP to add the mat.
I used a green liquid chalk inkpad on the edges of the image etc but
you can't see it very well!

Finally, to embellish, I added a large button with some sparkly dots on & a
sparkly no.6  toBradley's jumper.
Inside the card is a layer of the dotty DP with a die cut square to write on.
Thanks for popping in today, I hpe you like my card!

Heart Wreath In Blue

Good evening all!
Here's another little La Pashe card from me!
I've made this one as a DT inspiration card for the "Just For Fun",
chalenge over at the Crafting Cafe, Facebook Page.
The theme this month is "Nature's Garden"

This was made using one of the Floral  decoupage sheets.
Heart Wreath in blue
The base card is 8"x 8" white CS
I used a matt of Kraft & then the matching floral Design Paper.
I cut out the decoupage & layered it up with pinflair glue.
Next, I added a square of hessian/burlap under the image & wrapped some raffia
around, tying in a knot. My final embellishment is a little
wooden heart button, threaded with twine.
The sentiment was from the decoupage sheet too!
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you like my little card!
I hope you can play along in the fun challenge too!
Just upload a photo of your creation here

At The Beach

Good morning all!
It's Monday, which means we have a new challenge for you over at
Eureka Stamps, where the theme for this week is
Here's my DT inspiration card!

As you can see, I went more for what you can see from the beach!
(I'm sorry about the photo but I just couldn't get this to look straight at all!)
As soon as I saw this gorgeous mermaid, I just had to use her!
I made a shaker card,
The shaker part is a little acetate pocket, with the image placed behind it, inside the card.
(makes her look like she's underwater)
I used an A5 base, which I covered with some patterned vellum from Lidl,
then die cut an aperture in the centre.
I used a slightly bigger die to cut the acetate for the pocket.
I sealed the acetate on 3 sides, filled with lots of little beads & sequins, then
covered with a frame which I had doodled around with my Sakura Stardust pens.
Then stuck to the base.

On the inside I added a pattern paper which matches the veullum,
then added the image! Here's a closer look at her.

I had great fun colouring the image with my promarkers & Sakura Stardust pens.
I love the sparkly effect that the stardust pens give!
I cut her out using the same die as the aperture, inked with some distress ink,
whilst still in the die, then placed her so that she was
visibe through the shaker window.

Can't wait to see what you create for our At The Beach challenge!
