Blog Hop & Another Follower

Evening all! I just had to stop by & share this with you & say a big "Hi & a wave" to my latest follower!
(Thank you soo much for joining us! I'm afraid I can't find a link for you & I feel a bit rude calling you laurence-huber but until I find your link it's all I can do! I'm guessing you came by via My Grafico & I did look for you in the entries there but haven't found you yet!)
If you leave a comment here I should get your link from that! (Hugs)

Just had the most fun I've had in ages on this fab blog hop!
The theme as you can see is The Carnival!
Zoe from Make it Crafty and Mo from Mo’s Digital Pencil, came together to share the delight and fun of
The Carnival.
To celebrate - the two fabulously talented teams have come together for a massive blog hop to offer you plenty of inspiration when playing with these images.
Along the way you will find balloons with a letter in them.

The idea is to collect all the letters & make a phrase from them!
I've played along on a few blog hops lately & really enjoyed them all but this one was huge!!

I hopped all the way around the ladies blogs collecting letters & trying to make a phrase out of them!
I discovered I had made a huge mistake so I had to go back & collect all the letters again!

Ahhh! It was all so simple really !
Silly me!!!
If you have the time do hop around all the blogs of these very talented ladies!

There are quite a few & it will take a while but you have until 28th April to finish it & submit your answer!
I found out about the hop at Jak Heath's Blog  & funnily enough, that's where the fun begins!

Now for Something Close to all of our hearts
"Helping Children"
Mo and Zoe are doing a fund raiser image along side the hop it will only cost $1 and all proceeds will go to the Make a Wish Foundation for the UK and the US.

Sorry, I tried to upload a pic of it here but Mr Blogger wouldn't let me!
If you do go on the hop you'll see it anyway & there are lots of inspirational creations as to how you could use it too!
Right, I'm off to put my feet up with a glass of wine!
Night all!

So glad to have you all along on my blogging journey!
I've made some lovely new friends along the way!
Have lovely evening all!

Good Morning! It's Monday!

Good morning all!
Time for another DT card for the
My Grafico, Anything Goes, Monthly Challenge!

This week we were given this fab set to work with!

Aren't they just the cutest!

I merged one of the little ladies with the egg images & the bunny ear hairband!
I like to think that this little lady has done really well on that Easter Egg Hunt!

I used the sketch from Eat Sleep Stamp as the basis for my layout!
The papers I have used are from Southfield Stationers.
The striped paper is  matted onto some lightweight yellow card.
The egg paper was cut  using a sizzix scallop tag die!

The image was coloured up with promarkers & cut out with a nestie then matted onto the yellow card.

I added a layered paper flower, which had a lilac silk rose at the centre & a hand writtten sentiment, for which I used a Sakura Glaze gel pen.
I added some checked yellow ribbon to the tag & a little piece to the DP panel secured with  brad.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you like my little Easter creation!
I'd like to enter this card in the challenges below:-
Krafty Karen's Blogspot 100 followers celebration
This card was inspired by my first DT card for My Grafico!

This card was for my Mum on Mother's day! She loved it so much!
As you can see the image on my card this week has been cut out with a nestie, which mirrors the shape of the base card here! The images on both cards are from the same designer too! Well done once again on your 100 followers Karen!

Sunday Sweet Sunday!

Happy Sunday to you all!
This week at

 Challenge, #117  is Easter!
Here is my DT project

This week Debbie, the lovely boss, has asked the DT to use one of the Bunny images from
I opted to use Bunny 2 to embellish my little baskets.

These are so easy to make, just one sheet of paper for each, with a little strip cut off for the handle, a few simple folds & hey presto!

I printed my papers onto both sides of some double-sided matt photopaper.
The digi papers I have used are from the Green Easter set by Sammy Murphy, available from Scrapbookingmad
I've had this download for absolutely ages but they are still available.
I did a little bit of colouring on the bunnies with my Promarkers.
Next, I cut out the images with various nesties!

The baskets are different sizes & all sit neatly stacked inside each other.
The largest is made from an A4 sheet & the smallest an A5 sheet.

I filled them with a variety of sweets.
My idea was to fill them with mini chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies & Easter chicks but this is what happens when you ask your other half to do your shopping  for you!

Yep, it's as described but as he's a fan of the jelly sweet variety this is what he brought home! Lol!
Still I don't think the recipients will complain!
The only other embellishments I added are some paper flowers, papermania I think, with a brad for the centre of each then attached with some pinflair glue gel.
The little peeper chicks were left over from some Easter Bonnet creations I did earlier!
Thank you for stopping by!
(You may have seen a sneak preview of this post, Mr Blogger was being naughty & not listening to the fact that I wanted to schedule it!)
I'd like to enter these little baskets in a few challenges
