Waiting For Santa

Good morning all!

It's Saturday time to kick up your heels!lol

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

I've got a little bit of a jump on them as I've been playing with 

The Christmas Box CD-Rom from La Pashe.

Here's one of the cards I made!

I made an 8"x8" fold back card using 

Waiting For Santa Boy!

Here's a closer look at the image, it just so cute!

I love his little onesie!

I remember looking out of the window as a child, watching for

 a glimpse of  Santa & his reindeer going about their business!

I added a bow made with silver twine & sparkly funky fibres 

with a little jingly bell! The DP is from the CD-Rom too!

I added some glossy accents to the lights.

Inside the card, I've added a panel to write on, with a row of holographic 

mirror card die cut snowflakes!

What A Night!

Happy Thursday all!

I'm super excited as I have a day off work & my mum & I are

off  through to the Hobbycraft show at the SECC in Glasgow!

We didn't manage last year or the year before as mum wasn't up to it but

glad to say she's much better now & getting better all the time!.

Anyhoo, it's time for my Just Inklined card for this week!

What a night!

This CD is fantastic, it just keeps giving & giving. There's so much on there!

You can buy it for a snip at the moment over at Just Inklined

Here's a closer look! Lol! I actually feel a little bit queasy for her!

Coloured with Promarkers & Flexmarkers.

I added a few little up-cycled sequins & a gem which came in a little packet 

attached to a top I bought. The ribbon was from the same top.

I also added a few little streamers which I made using strips

of CS which I wrapped around a pricky tool to make a spiral.

The sentiment was made on my PC & I added a single line embossed border.

Heads Up On A DT Call!

Hi all, I just had to share this info with you!

Design Team Call

It's been a while since we had a DT call here at Crafting for all Seasons but we're looking for some crafty peeps to join our little team. We welcome all types of crafts and all abilities of crafter's to our challenges (everyone has to start somewhere!). The initial term will be from January to June 2014.

Here's what would be expected from you as a DT member:

1. Make a project once a fortnight according to the theme, sponsor images may be available. Post your project timeously to the DT blog and post on your own blog at 9.00am GMT on the day of the challenge.
2. Comment on numbers assigned to you ( two numbers out of ten).
3. Choose a Top Three after the challenge closes.
4. Have fun!!

If you think you could do all that and would like to be considered for the team please write a blog post sharing details of the Design Team call, telling us a little bit about yourself and linking to three projects of your choice which you feel best showcase your crafting style.

This DT call will be open for up to two weeks...please get in early if you're interested as the call will be closed if we have lots of early interest.

I've used a mix of flexmarkers, promarkers & copics to colour!

I added a bit of Washi Tape & a paper clip for a bit of interest
