Welcome Little One

Hi all,

I have another card to share with you!

Sorry, it's a fairy! They seem to be right on trend just now! lol

This card is my DT card for the challenge over at

The Crafting Cafe. This month's, theme is 

Welcome Little One!

I've gone a little bit out there this time, with a little fab n funky style!

My card base is a 6 x6 scalloped square.

The DP I have used is from Lidl. 

I always buy a load of these when they have them!

The Stamping Boutique

I used a Martha Stewart Heart punch for the border, wrapped some 

button twine around, then made the flower by layering up some 

hessian flowers which came in a bag from Poundland,

& added a button centre.

Here's a closer look at the image!

I coloured her up with my flexmarkers then cut out with an

oval nestie. I inked with a chalk inkpad then matted onto a scalloped oval.

A little side view to show the decorated inside too!

The sentiment was created on my PC!

Good Morning all!

Has everyone got their Gnomes & Fairies CD's from 

La Pashe yet?

I've got mine & I'd like to share this card that I made with you!

It's a type of pop up card!

This little guy is called Bowling Gnome!

What a sweet & cheeky little smile he has!

This card base is 8x8 inch, with lot's of folds and it can stand up on it's own,

a side view to show the folds

but, it folds flat for posting! 

I found a tutorial for this type of card when I was doing a bit of blog hopping.

I thought I had bookmarked the page but it seems not. So, I'm sorry I can't share a link to it!

I will of course keep looking.

I decoupaged up the Gnome using Pinflair glue & popped the sentiment up for 

some added dimension. The only extra embellishments I've added are

 a couple of buttons threaded with a

little bit of recycled twine from a clothes tag.
