Hi everyone! It's finally here! It's time for the

to celebrate Dude Time Doodles 1st Birthday!
We the Dudettes & our Special Guests have been having Fun Fun Fun!
If you came over here from Lynn's blog then your on the right track!
The Crawl is circular so it has no beginning & no end!
I do urge you to leave some love on each of the Dudettes & our Guests blogs
along the way as  there is candy galore to be won!
Here's my card

I'll tell you more about it later in this post if you're interested in how I made it!

How Does It Work?
Just in case you haven't been to the Dude Time Doodles Blog yet,
the Crawl will work like a Blog Hop and a Scavenger Hunt.
Each of the Dudettes and our Special Guests will have one item from the Scavenger Hunt on their blog.
What can you win I hear you say????
Well, as I mentioned, there is one helluva candy trail out there & one lucky winner who finds all the items on the Crawl will win a $20 gift certificate for the Dude Time Doodles Store
Here's the list of blogs just incase you get a bit lost

Dude Time Doodles – featuring Marlene’s card

The list of items you need to find will be posted on the DTD challenge blog.
All you need to do, is go thru the crawl searching for the items
& making a note of where you found them.
Best to write them down so you can come & go on the hop as you please,
you do have a week or so to complete it!.
When you find all the items, return to the Dude Time Doodles Blog to find
the instructions on what to do next!
One Lucky Winner will be picked from the correct entries and announced on the
DTD Challenge Blog on the 6th September
Now, still here??? To carry on with the hop/crawl
you need to move on to Ruth's Blog

As I will be fast asleep when this post goes live,
(I need all the beauty sleep I can get at my age! lol!)
I have linked to the participating blogs.
When I arise from my slumbers, I will link directly to the Scavenger Crawl Posts.

Now, read on to find out more about my card & my candy!

I used the fabulous Merle Molar image from
Bonibleaux Designs to adorn my Tee Pee Card!
I coloured him with Promarkers, cut him out with a nestie
& added some Glossy Accents to his glasses!
The Funny Circle Sentiment is from TLC Creations & was printed onto
Safmat from Letraset before being stuck onto plain cardstock & cut out with a
Scalloped Circle Nestie. I also printed a Good Luck In Your New Job Sentiment Ticket
(Created especially for me by Debbie at The Crafty Pad Designs)
onto the Safmat & stuck it onto the image!
For those of you who are not aware,
I work as a Dental Nurse & my very own  Merle Molar AKA,
the Dentist I was working with, has decided to leave town
& move on to a training post on the other side of Scotland!
That's the reason for the road map DP
(it's actually a page from an AA road map!
Don't tell my OH he may not understand! lol)

The Unique sentiment tickets are from Sentiments 4 You
& were also printed onto Safmat before being stuck onto the card!
There is also another Good Luck In Your New Job sentiment ticket.
In my minds eye, these represented the
old luggage labels you used to see on peoples suitcases!

I made a rosette also from the road map pages &
added another Good Luck In Your New Job ticket.
The card is held together with Bakers Twine!

Phew!
Now for my Candy!
I will be offering one lucky commenter a set of these!

Just what you need for your dude cards,
& a girl can never have too many Promarkers!
If I get lot's of comments, I might even add another little something!

Shake It Up, It's Sunday

Hey all,
Lets get shaky this Sunny Sunday!
It's time for a new challenge over at
& this week we want you to make a shaker card!
Here's mine

The image I have used is Rocking Horse from The Crafty Pad Designs
Such a cute image don't you agree?
The layout is from my mind eye!
I coloured up the image with Promarkers & cut out with a scalloped circle nestie.
I used two design papers from my stash! These are digital papers from
Cardmaking Downloads,
sorry I don't have the links for them at this time but if I find them soon I'll add them in!

To make my shaker section I cut a frame out of my design paper using
the same size scalloped circle nestie with a smaller one inside.
I also cut out a scalloped circle of acetate.
I stuck the acetate to the frame & then added foam spots all the way around.
Next I added the little heart confetti to the frame then stuck the image
 face down onto the frame.
I find it helps to run a glue stick over the foam dots as this gives you a little bit of
leeway to get everything in just the right place!

The sentiment circle is also from The Crafty Pad Designs
I cut it out with an inverted scalloped circle & coloured it with Promarkers
then matted onto a scalloped circle of DP

I added 3 buttons to the tabs at the top, just to finish off my card.
I also added a little teddy charm tied in a ribbon bow.
Sorry I didn't get a close up pic of that!
