Enjoy Your New Home

Good morning all!
It's time for me to share my Crafting Cafe DT project with you!
The theme for February is Embossing.
That can be wet or dry whatever takes your fancy!
Perhaps even both!
Now, here's my card.

I used a brick wall mask to emboss a sheet of orange CS.
I then inked with Spun Sugar, Fired Brick & Antique Linen distress inks.
I then used some gilding paste over the top.

The flowers were from my local pound shop & the leaves from my stash.
I generated the sentiment on my pc & inked it as I did the background.

The sentiment inside was also done on the PC & diecut then embossed
using a Spellbinders nestie die. As you can see it was also inked.
Thanks for popping in today, I hope you like my card & that
if you haven't already, you'll find the time to play in this months
challenge at The Crafting Cafe!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Cuttlebug Mania - Add Texture
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes/ Use Flowers
Scrappy Hands - Embossing

Focal Point

Good Morning all,
It's time for a brand new challenge at
This fortnight, we want to see you use your
Here's my card!

I used a sentiment by Robert Louis Stevenson, which I found on the internet.
I think it's perfect for a sympathy card.
I cut out the sentiment with a nestie,
then inked with Old Paper distress ink whilst still in the die.
I used this sketch

as inspiration for the layout of this card.

A buff coloured paper matt & a little button threaded with some button
twine are the only additional elements & the inside was left blank,
to write a personal message.

Another little look at my card!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Can't wait to see what you create for the challenge.

Fashionista

Hi all, Happy Monday to you!
It's time for a new challenge over at Ooh La La Creations,
where the theme this time is
Here's my card!

I used one of the Pyramid Decoupage sheets & matching papers
A beautiful Bathing Belle!
Here's a closer look at the image.

I printed it out onto 200gsm Print Perfect card-stock.
Just the perfect weight for this type of project!

The papers were printed on to  90gsm Print Perfect paper.
I cut some circles from one of the papers to make a flower.
Sorry the photos of the image are not the best as they were taken at an angle!
I added some self adhesive pearls from my stash & gauze from an
out of date dressing for the leaves.

A little side view of my card to show the dimension!
The buttons are from my stash too!
Thanks for popping in!
