Meerkats
Hi all!
Finally I have a card to share with you!
I have been beavering away in the background so haven't had much time to craft or blog!
Actually, I have to confess I haven't made a card this year yet!!!
I do have a couple that I haven't blogged yet so I will share them with you at some point!
This one was made for a friends daughter
A little square affair made in my favourite colours & earthy tones!
I used Kraft card from Southfield Stationers for the base
I love how the lovely Teri Sherman has already done the shading for you
& makes you look really clever at colouring!
The papers I have used are First Edition but I can't recall the name of the stack!
I added a vintage button from my stash & some punched leaves.
The edges were ditressed using a pair of scissors & chalked with a
Colour Q Liquid chalk inkpad
The chocolate coloured ribbon came from a local haberdashers!
I do love that rich brown colour!
The sentiment is an old Stamp from years ago!
These were unearthed when I unpacked all my stash which was stored in boxes for
the best part of a year whilst we did some home improvements!
The paper soaked up most of the ink but I like the effect.
I decorated the inside of the card to match the front!
Thanks for looking.
I really appreciate you stopping by!
