Pink,Silver & Black

I have another card to share! I have been busy making lots of Birthday cards this week!

This is Grumpy Gretchen! The digi stamp is called Big Deal Birthday and comes from Digi's With Attitude!

I have coloured her up using my promarkers & to fit in with their current Challenge #8 which is a colour challenge. Use Pink Black & Silver!
I have used a bit more colour on the cake but I hope it fits the bill!!!
The base card is A5, black & I have added a matt of silver & then a flocked paper which I got in a Do Crafts Goody bag eons ago! I also added another panel using a striped paper from the same pack. I love these papers sooo much, I can barely bring myself to use them!!lol
I added a bit of pink ribbon from some candy I recieved. I matted Gretchen on to some black and then some silver card which I had punched down one side using a Martha Stewart punch. Then to finish off a computer generated sentiment & number star, some card candy & a flower.
I hope you like her!!!

A Girly Christmas Card

(Hi all, just a quick reminder that my Birthday Candy is still up for grabs here!)
At last I have managed to get my competition entry done for the
November Comp over at Cardmaking Downloads
The November theme was for Christmas!
You must use a download from either Cardmaking Downloads or Scrapbookingmad to enter
but there are many different styles of downloads to choose from!
I used a combination of two downloads designed by Elaine Hayhoe.
I love the non traditional colours she has used and, as intend this card to go to a lady
who lives on her own,  it's an ideal girly card!

The main download is the pyramage and border with the sentiment.
The base card is made with backing papers which are included with this and another download.
The only added elements are a few pieces of ribbon which came tied round
cards & envelopes that I bought!

I did also use a border punch on the stop.
I quite like the effect of the matting and layering under the punched section

Have entered this into the  2 Sisters Challenge Blog  Challenge#15
