Good Luck

Hi All,
It's been a while but I'm back with a couple of samples I made for
Splash Crafts who've just introduced a cute
Care Bears Range which is amazing!

Here I've made a little easel card & used the dies to cut out the images.

The images & papers are  really versatile & great to work with.
Available in a format to suit everyone, there are stamps, dies, embosing folders,
a papercrafting kit & it also comes on a USB so you can
print & craft until your heart's content.

For this little cutie, I simply used the paper & a sentiment
with some ribbon, lace & a couple of pretty little crochet flowers

Thanks for popping in!
I hope you like my little samples!
I'll be back with more soon!

You're Leaving

Good morning all!
Thought I'd have another go at Blogging!
Not been getting crafty for a while but I found this little offering when I
was tidying up my blog, so I thought I'd share with it you today!
Might encourage me to do a bit more!

This is a card I made for a friend who was leaving her job a while back!
Why nuns? It's a long story! lol

These ladies are from Mo's Digital Pencil.
The image is called Joy & these ladies certainly look like the epitome of Joy!
I have to say that my friend found just as much Joy in her new venture!

I coloured the image with a mix of flexmarkers & promarkers
then added a dotty background. As I was colouring, a number of songs
kept popping into my head but the one that stuck was Joyful Joyful,
from Sister Act 2. Here's a little video!

I hope it works & you enjoy the music!

The font I have used for the sentiment is called Nunnery
which you can download here for free!
The ribbon was in my stash. I got it in a bargain basket at
a local haberdashers. I gave is a bit of a heat with my heat gun
to crinkle it up a bit, I love that look!
Thanks for stopping in to look at my card.
I appreciate your visits & love reading your comments!

Happy Anniversary

Good morning all!
We've had a great week taking in the atmosphere at the
Edinburgh Festival & Fringe.
It's back to normal today, back to work & I have a card to share!

This fun little offering was made for my parents anniversary!
I used the 7 Year Itch Decoupage Sheet from La Pashe
Wrinklies At The Movies CD.
My Dad is a big Marilyn Monroe fan, & my Mum loves
the movies, so it worked well for them!

The base is 8"x8" Kraft cardstock.
The Papers are from the My Minds Eye, Best Of Paisley Paperstack.
I kept the layout fairly simple, adding a couple of bits of ribbon & some lace.
The sentiment was printed on some Kraft then cut out using a
Spellbinders Callout die.

The stars were punched using an amazing Fiskars Punch that I won!
(It feels like it will punch through anything, like it's butter)
I then embossed them using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.
I added a sheer bow to finish it off.
As you can see from the photo, I decorated the inside of the card too!
Thanks for popping by, I hopeyou like it!

Good morning all, what a quick weekend that was!
I hope you all managed to get ome time to relax & a bit of fun time too!

We managed to spend a little time soaking up the atmosphere & I'm
looking forward to my stay-cation next week, when we can make the most of it!
Here's the card I have to share today!

It's a little A6 Baby Girl card.
I used an image from La Pashe for the main focus.
I used a spellbinders circle die to cut it out & a scalloped circle to mat.
The edges have been distressed & inked a little.
The embossing folder is a cuttlebug one if I'm not mistaken.
The sentimet was done on the pc & I used a border punch for the decorative mat.
The ribbons & heart gems are from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Good Morning all! I hope you're well!
Unlike the young lady featured on my card today! Lol

This is a card I made  while back but didn't blog right away as the person
it was for hadn't recieved it yet!
The image is by La Pashe. It's decoupaged, but it's difficult to see in the photos.
The papers are from Lidl, the ribbon & sequins are from my stash.
I inked the edges of the papers with a liquid chalk inkpad.
The glittery 50 is from my stash too! I think it's papermania.

City Gent

Good morning all!
I have a card to share with you today!
This one was made for my brother's birthday!

It's been kicking about as a draft post on my blog for ages, so I
thought I'd best share it with you now!

I used the Papermania Heritage Press City Gent collection to make my nice & simple
A5 gatefold card. The decoupage was layered up with foam pads.
A bit of matting & layering with the papers & a couple of buttons to embellish.

I added a couple of buttons & an eyelet to the sentiment tab.
On the inside I added a die cut tag with a little a
La Pashe Easy Peely Short n Sweet Verse

I couldn't get the card to lay flat on it's own, so I popped
a paperclip on it to keep it in place!
Thanks for popping in today, I hope you like my little card!
