stay-cation here in our lovely city of Edinburgh!
If I get any good pics, I'll share them with you!
Now, todays card is a sweet & simple little Anniversary card,

The image I have used was taken by a friend of mine, Ana,
who kindly gave me permission to use it on a card & to blog it!
Thanks Ana, I love you & your pic too as you already know!
I was inspired by the YNS Sketch & photo inspiration

Two little peas nestling in a pod! So sweet & a little cheesy! lol
The checked paper was from Craftwork Cards, the textured greem is from
American Crafts & the Kraft is from Southfield Stationers

I made up a little verse for the inside . I can't share it with you
just yet but I might do soon! The font I used is Pea Aimee,
you can download it or free here. The twine is recycled from a tag
that was on a top I bought. I often by this brand of clothing

Good morning everyone!
It's Thursday already!
That means it's time for my Just Inklined Card!
Today I'd like to introduce to you, my hero........

I've had this digi forever & use him time & time again!
I've tried to make him look a bit like a circus strong-man this time!
I was inspired by the photo at {PIN}spirational challenge this time.

Here's a closer look at the image!

Just look at those muscles!
What guy wouldn't be thrilled to recieve a card featuring this chappy!
I coloured him up with a mix of Flexmarkers & Promarkers.

The fantastic stripey paper is from Southfield Stationers.
They have a great selection of great quality papers!
I attempted to make a bit of a circus tent effect
& added some triangle corners! The sentiment was done on the PC
using a free font called Carnival. A couple of little buttons threaded with
some twine which was tied in a bow, to finish off !
Thanks for stopping by today!

Something Hidden!

Good Morning Peeps & Happy Hump Day!
It's all downhill towards the weekend now! Yay!!!
Today's card is for Crafting For All Seasons.
You'd be forgiven for thinking the theme is still Christmas but no,
this time it's "Something Hidden"

My little card is an accordion card with a hidden tag!
The papers & elements are all from a Papermania Pack I got last year.
I used a 5"x12" piece of Kraft Card for my base & folded, to
give the accordion effect.

I used another piece of Kraft to mount the topper.
The elements are all matted on to Kraft too!

Here's the little tag peeking out from the back of the card,
with a little sheer ribbon pull.

This is the tag, resting on the front of the card.
You can't see it in the photos but I glittered them up with a
Clear Star Sakura pen.
Thanks so much for popping in this time!
I hope to see you over in the challenge!

Edinburgh Festival & Fringe

Happy Sunday all!
We had a lovely afternoon yesterday mooching about Edinburgh, having a look at what's going on!
We had some tickets for a BBC show & spent a bit of time in the BBC garden.
This is the Pleasance Dome, part of the Students Union.

The roof is a perspex dome which lets the sun shine in!
Lot's of different venues in here with all sorts of shows going on.

Cafe's & bars too!

Next was the BBC garden.

We stopped for a drink at The Pink Tent
and listened to the lovely music of Jo Mango

Finally we headed in to our show.
It was a lovely afternoon, I can't wait until the end of the week when we
finish up work & have a little weeks stay-cation in our beautiful city!

Dress Form Birthday

Hi all, here I am with a little card to share with you!
This is for a friends birthday & it just kind of made itself!

I hadn't ever looked at the Scrapbooking Papers before today but
I was more than delighted with what I found!
The die cut dress form is part of a goodie box I got from Craftwork Cards.
I embossed it with my Cuttlebug Swirls folder then inked with
Antique Linen, Pumice Stone & Old Paper distress inks!
I mounted the dress form using foam tape for a bit of dimension.
The flower was cut using  Spellbinders Classic Circle dies.
The lace pearls & buttons were all from my stash!
the sentiment ticket is from The Crafty Pad Designs

I used the negative of the die cut dress form & inked inside the card.

The envelope got the same treatment!

Another little side view just to let you see the dimension.
Thanks for popping in!

So, it's now time for my latest Just Inklined card!

The image I have used for this one is the beautiful & serene
Garden Bench one of the images exclusive to
This card is for a dear friend who just loves her garden!
As I was making it, I couldn't get a song out of my head!
English Country Garden
My mum & I used to sing it when I was young!

I coloured the image with....wait for it..... water colour pencils!
I've had these for ages but not played with them much!
I have to say, I like the effect acheived with just a few different colours.
The papers I have used are from my stash, not sure where they
are from but Ii I was to guess, I'd say they were Papermania

The corners are cut with a sizzix die.
Not really my thing but I've also added a few little roses from my stash!

Christmas In July

Good moring all!
Today, I'm sharing my DT card for the new challenge at
Crafting For All Seasons, where the theme this time is

My little A6 card was made using one of our sponsors images,
Whoopsie Daisy Sheet 284 the sentiment ticket is by Just Inklined.
The base card is Kraft & I've rounded the bottom corners
with a Woodware corner punch.

I coloured the image with my usual mix of Flexmarkers & Promarkers
I used traditional christmas colours & a spot of glitter!
The image was fussy cut then mounted on to a mat of kraft & DP.
Which I wrapped with some twine.
The DP is from Papermania & has been in my stash since last year.
The snowflakes on it are embossed, I think you can just about make that out!

Another little look at my card, from the side. You can just about
see that the inside is decorated too!
As most of my Christmas cards have to be posted in the UK mail,
I have made this card fairly flat to allow the use of  a regular postage stamp.
