Good morning lovely friends & bloggers!
Here is today's card,  it's a fun, A5 decoupage card!

The image & papers are from La Pashe

Aren't they just tooooo cute!!!
I love these little characters, they are so full of fun!
You might just have seen them on C&C TV recently!
I believe they were so popular that the CD-Rom sold out and some
of you are still waiting for yours!

I used pinflair glue to build up the layers, then distressed the edges using
some serrated scissors & Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen.

I added a beautiful flower which was handmade for me ages ago
by the lovely Lee, AKA  Crafty Loops! I love using the flowers she made
but I feel I have to keep them for very special cards!
The sentiment if from the CD-ROM too!

Here's the inside of the card. I used a pawprint stamp from my stash
to create the background paper.
Thanks for dropping in, I love it when you visit!

very special birthday last month!
Our very own lovely boss lady Nikki turned 40!
(that's 40 exclamation mark, not 401 as it looks in my typeface!)
Whoop Whoop!
Luckily we share a favourite colour so it was easy peasy!

Our sponsor this month is the lovely Teri Sherman of

The team were all super excited to be working with Teri's fabulous images.

The image I have used is Steampunk Fairy
I think she's just absolutely gorgeous!
I've coloured her with a mix of Flexmarkers & Promarkers.
I've added some stickles to her wings for a bit of glitter!
My papers are Do Crafts & I've had them forever in my stash.
(I think I bought them when I attended one of Nikki's demos at a local craftshop!)
The cogs are die cut with Spellbinders Dies.
I  used my chalk inkpads to lightly distress,
The ribbons were chosen from my local fabric shop & the fabby little tiny
button brads were purchased at Southfield Stationers shop.
The font I have used is Ornatique & you can download it free here!

Best Seat In The House

Good Morning lovelies!
I have another card to share with you today!
The image is from Just Inklined.

The image I have used is called Best Seat in the House
The papers I've used are from Papermania,
I think the stack is call Boutique but I can't be sure as
I've had them in my stash for an age!

This handsome chap reminds me of a friends lovely dog & I was tempted
to add a bit of drool but decided against it!
I coloured him up with promarkers then fussy cut him out!
I tried to make the papers look like wallpaper & carpet.
I added bit of  ribbon ( recycled from a top) where they joined as skirting!

When I was looking for some buttons to embellish, I came across
this one which I thought looked like a football!
The bow was lying beside me as I worked so that got added too!
(Another recycled ribbon from some handmade cookies)

Such a beautiful vintage image, just perfect for all sorts of occasions!
I haven't added a sentiment as I thought you could use your own imagination
as to which occasion it might suit!
The paper is from my stash. I have no idea where it's from but I have to
say it reminded me of vintage wallpaper. I lightly distressed the edges with a pair of scissors
& inked with Antique Linen Distress ink.
The decorative edge was made using a Martha Stewart Doily edge punch.

I coloured the image with a mix of Flexmarkers & promarkers.

Lol! I did intend adding some tiny pearls to the buttons but looking at the photo's
