Fancy Folds

Good morning all, it's time for a brand new challenge over at 

Ohh La La Creations Challenge Blog!

The theme this time is Fancy Folds.

Here's my card!

I used this pyramid decoupage & papers from the gorgeous Shawn Jenkins

CD, available in the shop here.

I used the sketch 

from Completely Christmas as the inspiration for my layout.

I rotated it 90 degrees.

I opted to make a gatefold card, I just love them!

I missed out a couple of layers of the decoupage as I didn't want too much height.

I bought the ribbon Silk Crush ribbon from a sale on Facebook,

isn't it lush? I have it in several colours!

I also added a few littl pearls from my stash.

The pyramge looks a bit wonky in the photo, but it's just camera angles.

I also added a little panel with a decorative border inside.

A very quick, simple yet impressive card to make!

Good Morning All 

It's Thursday which means it's time to share a 

Just Inklined card with you all!

The image I have used is Lovely Bubbly, one of the images exclusive to the 

Best Of Just Inklined CD Rom

You can pick up the CD at a snip, as it's on sale at the moment.

My card base is Kraft card. 

Aren't they a really cute couple!

I coloured the image with my usual mix of Promarkers & Flexmarkers

Then die cut & inked with Vintage Linen Distress Ink.

The papers I've used are from Lidl. It's actually a double sided paper.

I added a doily which I cut in half to make it fit better & added a couple 

of die cut clock faces which show the numbers of the anniversary date.

The lace, button twine & button are all from my stash.

I addded a plain manilla insert.

I have a card to share with you today!

Last week, a messaged popped into my inbox asking if I'd like to GDT with

Just Inspirational Challenges

Of course I was delighted & jumped at the chance!

I really love playing along in their challenges!

Here's the card I made.

The theme of the challenge is Lace & Pearls.

The image I was given to work with is from Beansie Doodles, the lovely

Spring Swing Rebekha 

Isn't she just a stunner? So pretty in her summer frock!

The colours I have chosen to work with are the selection at 

 

The Doodle Garden

I coloured her up using promarkers, trimmed the image & distressed with scissors.

I inked with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

The paper I have used is from the Bird Cage Stack by First Edition

My sentiment was made on the PC,  I matted on to pieces

of a die cut square. The lace & pearls are from my stash. 

I decorated the inside of the card too!

I love doing this as I feel it gives the card a real finished look.

A Simple Thank You

Good morning all!

I have a little CAS card to share with you today.

Not too much to say about it really!

The card base is Linen Embossed CS from The Range.

The sentiment was die cut with a Sizzlit Die.

The gingham & dotty papers are from Craftwork Cards.

The twine is American Crafts & the button from my stash.

The corners were cut using a Woodware corner punch.

The colours are inspired by the challenge at Creative Colours

The inside of the cardhas been decorated too!

Girly Decoupage

Good moning all!

I have a card to share with you today!

This one was made using a little decoupage sheet which I think

 was a freebie with a magazine. I have no idea ehich though!

The base card is Dottie Card from Anna Marie Designs.

I used some silver mirror card for matting.

A closer look at the decoupage.

I punched a border using a Martha Stewart Punch & added some sheer ribbon.

Simple & quick to assemble. The perfect little crafty fix!

Feature A Creature

Good morning all!

I hope your week is going well so far!

We're currently on a staycation here in Edinburgh for the Fringe.

Having a great time & seeing lots of interesting things!

It's time for the brand new challenge over at Crafting For All Seasons!

Where the theme for this fortnght is

Feature A Creature!

Here's my card!

(I'll apologise straight away for the quality of the photos but I just 

couldn't get the pics I wanted!)

A fairly simple Christmas card (I need millions of these!)

Our sponsor this time is Lacy Sunshine. 

The DT were kindly given images to play with!

The image I have used is - Santa Pickles
The base card is an A6 Kraft card & the DP is by First Edition.
I used a die to cut the shaped end. 

I coloured Pickles using Promarkers, trimmed the image then edged with a 

Colour Q liquid chalk inkpad then matted on to some Kraft card stock

I used some Washi tape from my stash to add a border, then

finished with some buttons threaded with twine!

The snowflake fell on to the card when I was rummaging about in my 

Chrismas stash so I decided to leave it there!

Good Morning all!

Time to share my DT card for the brand new challenge over at 
Ooh La la Creations Challenge Blog,

 the theme for this fortnight is 

Scenic!

Heres my card

I've used a topper from the Boys To Men CD, which is available in the Shop

I think it's very scenic!  I'd love to be walking that course in the sunshine!

I've used the great sketch from The House That Stamps Built

as the basis for the layout of my card!

Here's a closer look at the image!

I've inked the edges with Vintage Linen Distress Ink.

The base card is Kraft, A5 & I've added some Dottie Card from

Anna Marie Designs. The borders are corrugated kraft card,

 which came in a pack from Lidl.

I added three buttons from my stash to finish!

I've mounted topper on some foam tape for a bit of dimension.

Here's what I made this time!

A cute little Anniversary card using the gorgeous

Dgital Stamp Love Cats.

I absolutely adore ths image!

Here's a closer look!

I did some minimal colouring using some flexmarkers.

The moon is actually coloured using Lemon Chiffon, but

it doesn't show up well in the photo!

The edges & sky were done using a Colour Q liquid chalk ink pad

I added some lace pearls & button twine from my stash as well as a

little heart charm. The border was made using a Martha Stewart Punch.

Out Of The Shoe Box

Good Morning all,

 I have a trio of cards to share with you today!

Recently I was lucky enough to snap up some crafty stash when a friend 

was having a crafty clearout! 

I love to do this, as not only can it work out a cheaper

 way to get some stash but you can also use the chance to play with 

things you may not normally purchase! 

It's also ideal if you make cards for charities etc.

These cards were all made from an A4 die cut sheet that was 

intended to make just one card.

This card is a little A6 offering. I cut a decorative edge around the image & one 

of the sentiments provided (there were two) using a rotary cutter.

These were popped up on some foam tape for dimension.

  I added a border rom the kit, some fluffy fibres & a couple of buttons from 

my stash to embellish. The inside of this card has a plain insert.

The second card is also A6, lanscape this time!

I simply matted one of the panels onto a piece of white card on which I had

a punched border & inked using a Colour Q liquid chalk inkpad.

I added a single button to embellish.

The inside of this card was decorated with a panel of white CS & a

couple of small decorative panels.

The final 6x6in square card was made using what was the backof the original

card & another panel which was trimmed down to make a topper.

The topper was matted on to some black CS. The sentiment was

popped up on some foam tape. I added some ribbon &  black lace 

from my stash. The inside was decorated too!

I hope this inspires you to think out of the box a little when you look at

 those little kits you have languishing about in your stash!
