It Must Be Love Love Love

Good morning all!

It's Thursday already. I'm getting excited as it's almost time for my annual 

week off to take in all the sights sounds smells & all the action of the 

Edinburgh Festival Fringe!

It's also time for me to post a card for Just Inklined lol

Here's what I made this week!

The image I've used is Wedding Carriage, one of my fav wedding images.

I've used it on a variety of wedding cards, all different styles

I always wonder where the happy couple are off to on Honeymoon!

I coloured the image a little with some Promarkers & Flexmarkers.

The die cut & distress inked while still in the die!

I distressed the edges with a pair of serrated scissors.

 I've used Paisley Patterened papers from American Crafts

& added a strip of lace from my stash.

I also tied a bow with the lace & sewed on a pearly green button.

The button is just gorgeous in real life, but it hasn't shown up so well in my photo!

The gorgeous, love words, were cut using a Memory Box Die.

I also cut a little border with a Spellbinders die!

New Home

 Good morning all!

I have two little new home cards to share today.

I made these a little while back but forgot share them with you!

These were made using parts of a kit by Karen MacKellar.

The lady who asked for them wanted two cards which were similar

 but not the same. I made the card up using one of the backing papers sheets

 printed on to cardstock for the easel base then added sentiment on some 

foam tape as the stopper.

I also added a wooden button threaded with raffia.

 

For the second card, I used plain white cardstock for the base then

added the second sheet of backing paper as a matt.

Such a pretty little kit & always popular.

Such a quick & simple make too!

Chicken

Good morning all, I have a card to share today!

This is one I made for my MIL's Birthday.

She's chicken mad & has a little chicken run in her back garden.

She enters them & thier eggs in to local shows & wins a number of prizes

with them too! I have to say the eggs are delicious!

We're off out to lunch with her today, to celebrate her Birthday!

I used a free image Vintage Chickens

The sentiment was from the Never Too Old To Party set by

Paulette at Create With TLC

I added a little punched boder & a piece of ribbon detail!

Seaside Anchor

Good morning all!

How time flies, it's Thursday already!

Time for this weeks Just Inklined card !

I've made a Beachy type card! The image I have used is

Seaside Anchor 

a perfect image for a male or perhaps just a beach lover.

So many occasions spring to mind.....

I used a Kraft base with a strip of corrugated card in the same colour.

Some gauze, raffia, fish charms, an anchor charm & a little shell.

I coloured my image with promarkers. The sand was done with a distress

marker. I have only one, in Vintage Linen, but it worked perfectly for the sand!

The sky was Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I popped up the image on some foam tape.

The usual side view to finish!

Good morning everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at

I've used one of the images kindly supplied by our sponsor

Meljen's Caroling Snowmen

They're just so sweet are they not!

I coloured them up using my Sakura Pens, which always make an

appearance for my Christmas Cards! lol

The papers I've used are from Papermania, it was a pack which

came free with a magazine last year if I remember rightly!

I love the colours! I added a sentiment which was left over from 

another project a little gingham ribbon bow.

Hey presto, done in next to no time!

Vintage Christmas

Good morning everyone & a very Happy Monday to you all!

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at

Ooh La La Creations, where the theme this time is

Vintage

Here's my card!

I love vintage Christmas cards, so I had a go at this!

The image & papers are from the Passion for Fashion CD rom,

available in the Ooh La La Creations shop here

I did add one other paper, the musical one, which is from

Papermania. I punched a  border on that one using a Tonic, 

Fleur De Lys punch. I did a bit of inking with Vintage Lace distress ink too.

The design of my card is based on this sketch

I added a ribbon frame to the topper. 

The ribbon & lace are from my stash as is the button,

I haven't done anything to the inside of this card yet, I was

aware of the sky darkening & didn't want to miss the best of the light.

Sewing Theme Quick Card

Happy Saturday all!

A qick little post from me today!

I thought I'd share this little 10 minute make with you!

I was made using a kit which was one of the members gifts

from Creat & Craft. Perfect for these cards in a hurry!

It's A6 in size. The base is Linen Embossed card stock from

The Range.

The sentiment & the tape measure are from the kit too.

The little button threaded with twine is from my stash.

I popped up the topper & sentiment on two different

thicknesses of foam tape.

Super quick, clean & simple, hope you like it!

Good Morning all!

I hope everyone is having a great week!

It's Thursday & it's time for my Just Inklined card!

The image I have used is the gorgeous

Strawberry Pot

perfect for so many occasions, this time I've used it for a birthday!

The papers I've used are from the Making Memories - Maddi stack.

The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. I love the shape of it!

Here's a closer look at the image!

I love strawberries, the just remind me of the long hot days of summer & they're

so yummy too!  This image just makes me want to pick one & eat it!

I used my trusty Promarkers to colour it up then a circle to die cut.

The ribbon I've used is the very last of it from my stash!

I must go hunting for some more as I loved it so much!

As you can see, I've decorated the inside a little too!

Match Of The Day

Good Morning All

Happy hump day!

I have a card to share with you today!

This 8x8 inch card was made using the Match Of The Day sheet, from the

 Flipping Families CD Rom. You can also purchase the pre printed 

decoupage sheets or downloads from La Pashe.

The papers were also from the CD Rom.

The little grass border was a die cut, not sure who the die is by.

The little footballs were cut from one of the papers & layered for

a bit of dimension. The sentiment is from the sheet & the little

die cut trophy was part of a candy that I won eons ago.

Good Moning all,

Here's another little card from me!

This card was made using a kit I got from Create & Craft.
It was really quick to make!

The card base is Dottie Card from Anna Marie Designs

The measuring tape was part of the kit as was the sentiment button.

Embellishment wise, I picked up on the buttons in the image,

 & added a few in similar colours  from my stash. I also 

added a little ribbon bow.

I popped the image & the sentiment up on some shaker tape

for a little bit of dimension!

I don't often use these kits for card making but they are super speedy

 to put together & can give you lovely results!
